Everton are one of the top 5 teams in the country - would be good to see what our first team could do against them

Besides this a great opportunity for others like SWP, Hitchcock, Diakite etc to show how good they are and what they've got to offer. Plus it'll give others (austin) some much needed rest.SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

Samba Diakite is just the type of player I was calling for in the midfield thread: http://www.wearetherangersboys.com/f...-What-midfield

He wasn't very good. The only argument for bringing him back appears to be that what we have are actually worse. My take is we are 3rd and one point behind 2nd place, it's not like we are 8 points adrift from 2nd bottom.
I know he appears to have played ok in a few games and we all wished him to be our very own Veira but on the whole he was disappointing. Those two seasons in the prem we were cheering anything that gave us some sense of dignity, posters were applauding Mbia for staying on the pitch after another defeat and handing his shirt to fans FFS.
He's not the answer, let's get two strikers in.

He was outstanding. Fine if you don;t think he can get back to that level but we shouldn't start saying he was ok for us and had a few "lucky runs". He used to lift crowd whenever he got the ball.

Kevin I accept you are a super optimist person who feels we will sign a super striker and Harry will win the league for us,and we will finish mid table next season,I,on the other hand am a realistic( ok negative in your mind) and don't think we will sign a super striker, don't think Harry(0-0 )R will take us up,and think he will either he sacked or quit, but maybe you are right( but I doubt it)
