team for everton is a tough one. I'd probably drop our key players, basically the back 4, barton, austin and philips.

Why is there a good chance that Luke Young and Diakite will play against Everton? What would be the point of sending out a team of reserves to play against an in form Premiership side? Do you think 6-0 defeats are good for morale?

I'd say there is a far better chance that you will never see Luke Young or Samba Diakite in the QPR first team again!

Probably because history dictates that promotion out of this division is more important than taking part in a cup competition that we have little or no hope of winning. If key players get injured in the Everton game...then what? Do you want to risk Austin in his game? I don't.

The first team wont be affected of the reserves lose 6-0. Doesnt bother them in the eds. Just rest everyone bar the ones like benny yoon who need more game time.

I guarantee you that Harry won't take a reserve side to Everton to get d*cked in front of the nations media. He will play a strong side up there and we'll play to win!

Time will tell...remember Jamie Mackie broke his leg in a cup game away to Blackburn. Be very foolish IMO.

I'm not sure whether Diakite has got an actual "mental problem" as you suggested there or whether he just has an incredibly low intellect. Either one is a decent enough reason for him not to be playing in my book though!
So you wouldnt start a player is isnt very intelligent? not too sure what point you are trying to make here, but based on your post anyone of "low intellect", shou;dnt be playing football?

Players can get injured in any game, any training session, in fact they could get injured getting out of bed in the morning so I don't see that as an argument.

You have to look at the whole picture here. If Harry took a second string up to Everton and we got trounced it would have a negative effect on every player on the pitch and probably the rest of the squad too, and it would be highlighted in the media as it is an FA Cup match against top flight opposition. Further to that you would be fueling the fire for every QPR fan that is making "Redknapp Out" noises, and all of that is even before you consider the poor fans that will make the journey up there to Liverpool.

Trust me, Harry will play a strong side up there!

Whats the point in having a squad if you don't use them?

Using the squad and playing players that haven't played regular football in years are 2 very different things mate!

It will be a mix of 1st team and reserves. Austin won't play as it will be a good rest for his hammy
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

No its not. Reserve games are still 90 minutes of football. These are experienced pros not youth team players.

We all know which players need game time and we all know which players need a rest. Harry will go with a decent line up, cos no-one wants a 6-0 dicking do they?

Would expect Green, Dunne, Barton, and Austin at least to be benched and Murphy, Hitchcock, Kranc, Benayoun and (gulp) BZ all to start.

I don't think he will risk Austin but think it will be a strongish team.

I reckon Harry will go something like this

                                Green

                                Simpson Hill Onouha Traore

                                Philips Barton Henry Carroll Benayoun

                                Hitchcock

He might start Zamora ahead of Hitchcock depending on how fit he is, with Diakite, Young and a few other fringe players making the bench
