Harry will get us up this season, probably as champions or second place, but I don't think he's the man to take us forward in the future. Harry's success is based on spending huge sums of money on experienced players he's worked with before, but what happens when they all eventually retire?
We need a manager that knows how to build a team for the long-term with promising young players. If not, then do what swansea have done, decide on a playing style that'll be used for years to come (in swansea's case, good attractive football), employ a manager who plays this style and if he needs to be replaced in future, replace him with a manager who plays a similar style. The new manager won't have to buy many new players as the previous manager would have already bought a suitable squad with the right players at his disposal. Would save the club from buying about 10 players every single transfer window due to different managers having different styles/philosophies! This is stopping us progressing as a club imo.
Just my opinion on what should be done, even if we don't go up this season. We need to start thinking long-term.
