  • Does any QPR fan on here seriously understand Redknapp's plan?

Are we actually challenging for the title or focusing on making the play-offs ?

Is he more interested in not conceding over scoring?

Are our players being instructed to sit back and not support the attack?

I just don't understand what is happening on the pitch , does anyone else?

With the fit players available not sure we are capable of doing much more than holding out for draws. That said if you do play five in midfield I thought the idea was that one of your central midfield players steal into the box late (ala Lampard). Barton and Carroll are either incapable of doing this or have been instructed to sit deep.

I think his plan coming into the season was to solidify the back as this had been our Achilles heel for the two previous seasons. He brought in McLaren to sort this out. He wanted a team to have possession. He did bring in Austin and Phillips but left us short of quality up front. I cannot believe we do not have healthy forwards.

How many games this season have we gone for the throat? We have played some bad sides yet not once have we been set up to destroy a team! Leicester scored 5 today when with this team have we looked like doing the same. We have been found out we cannot bore teams to get a result!!!! Very very poor style of play and we look like a side set up not to lose rather than one trying to win!!

Have we got the worst goals for record, or are we the only club not to of scored more than twice in a game?

On the back of the Forest performance and two defeats on the trot I thought we done ok. Watford for me never looked like scoring at any point and we looked comfortable for 90mins but as stated above we never go for the throat we don't seem to have that killer instinct

Watford are viewed as one of the better side in this division but I seriously feel had we gone for it the last half hour we would have come away with three points. Were carrying Caroll at the moment, I know he has his supporters on the board but he was poor today, again he had an opportunity to crack a shot off but stopped and gave the ball wide.

Niko up top is not the answer but we got away with it and he had a few half chances but were desperate for another option up top

I actually think Redknapp is stifling our players natural ability to attack.

I'm very critical of Carroll but we have seen him move the ball quickly forward be it very rarely, BAE was once one of the best attacking left backs in the PL now he doesn't even cross the half way line, Barton sitting very deep, Austin being unsupported when we are on the counter attack in the 18 yard box.

This is the set up of a team trying not to lose , its pathetic we see positive possession become negative in the final third This is not the players at fault this is down to the managers instruction.

Maybe there is a new rule in football, the team that scores the least and bores the most gets promoted

i have backed harry from day one and will continue to but, he has really lost the plot.

just hope he finds his mojo soon.

our defence is fine, midfield is keeping possesion well but without austin we are fooked.

two strikers are needed and just cart off johnson to palace and put down zamora.

I fear if we get another striker is that they will be used to rotate with Austin instead of playing two up top as Harry has come out and said one up top in the way forward
