  • For the older Rangers...

For once not a moan but a genuine question...

Has there been a time since watching rangers that the season has been more boring than this one?

Regardless of position in the table, which league etc I'm just curious. Been watching the rangers regularly since 2001 and I've always cared how rangers do every weekend. This year when I go to Loftus Road I pray for a fast paced 5-1 loss over another mind-numbingly slow 0-0. Getting really sick of spending one of my two free days a week being put in to a coma.

So you'd prefer a relegation, than a mid table pos?

Patience my friend! I'm not making excuses but with the state of the club going into the off season this isn't all bad, we could have been on the wrong end of several fast paced 5-1 losses! I would love to be able to be at Loftus Road every weekend for the boring wins!

              Are you kidding!

As long as we get promoted I will be happy. We are not playing exciting football, I still hold out hope.

That does actually sound like a moan cunningly disguised as a question.

Fair enough Jack. Still, don't you think it gets to a point where wanting to win isn't the most important thing? You go to football to be entertained, to feel emotions that are ideally good but sometimes bad. The reason we all love football and qpr so much is that it illicits an emotion. This year I go to games and nap, and get charged for the privilege. 30 years from now when I look back on how I spend my Saturdays I will remember the shocking quality football a decade ago much more fondly than I remember this season.

Completely agree. Frustrating. Not a single shot on target second half.

The actual game may be a little boring but there is always the next game to get exited about.
Its never just the match its the build up to the game. Never fails me since the mid 60's.

I'm not even feeling frustrated by it, just bored. Guess it makes me a worse qpr fan than the rest of people here but right now I'd rather come out of the Doncaster game feeling entertained and having something to talk about even if we lose rather than just 'a win'.

Been going since 1998. Definitely the most boring football from a QPR side I've witnessed.
