I'd rather win every week not draw and definitely not lose. The point of the game is to get a result. Seems to me sky tv going on about entertainment is starting to infiltrate into fans heads. Thought it was only the plastic fans that expected this after sky got involved

This year I go to games and nap, and get charged for the privilege. 30 years from now when I look back on how I spend my Saturdays I will remember the shocking quality football a decade ago much more fondly than I remember this season.
Not sure on this? To me the match is only part of the day/experience. I go to have time with my kids, my friends and at away games meeting up with fans that I dont always see at LR. The train trip up from the coast, lunch, a few beers,LR, the match, a few more beers, a sing song after the game, the journey home, all part of the football day out.

Suppose I'm old enough for the 'football' not to spoil 'a day at the football'

I want to win every game, but to be honest win, lose or draw, entertaining, boring, whatever, I'm a Ranger through and through and the game itself is just part of it
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

To an extent I agree with you Soton. Only reason really got in to QPR was having something to enjoy with my dad every week and it's a big reason why I respect/like my dad more than most. But now I'm starting to think why bother? Me and him could go to the pub or do something else with our time that we would both enjoy more than what is being served at Loftus Road this season.

Another point you stepped on is that the new generation of R's do want entertainment. If my first QPR game with my old man was this season I wouldn't fancy coming back.

Whilst football is not an entertainment , you do want your team to excite you , everyone has seen plenty of dull games down the years , that they can't even recall anything about them a year later . Today we had possession without purpose , which is really frustrating and that's what's annoying everyone . Maybe a switch to 3-5-2 might help .

What a ridiculous thing to say and whilst you are never going to accept it but, maybe others' expectations are different from yours.... You might well be satisfied with a result even if the football on offer is pragmatic and as dull as ditchwater whereas someone else might expect entertaining football with some goalmouth action and excitement rather than leaving games drowsy or in a full blown coma.... They'll be dishing out pillows and blankets soon at LR as what's on offer from Rangers is such dross.....

Rangers need some injection of enthusiasm into the management/coaching structure as none of them seem to possess much spark these days it's like they've stepped out of the Newsnight studio rather than the MOTD one half the time.....!!!
