Let's show a bit of ambition Rhodes, McCormack, Crouch, if we're really that intent on getting back to Prem?

Typical. Think last season I read he was the worst striker in the premier league on stats like shots to goals ratio or something. Probably just recycled old news as we was interested in the summer.

Was well into double figures for the hammers in the championship and is a proper handful. Name one other striker we have apart from Austin who is even close to that ? Bz is finished, aj's made of glass . I'd snap him up on a short ish deal in a heartbeat. Like van said him and Austin would be a decent partnership

As Vanhoop said would be solid addition who offers something we don't have. If its a choice between him and Crouch I would probably take Cole

Pretty sure he'll get an extension offer at west ham anyway thinking about it . Would definatly take him if the chance came up though

Ever since we got promoted to the Prem we have all realised that we have needed a decent striker. Since then only one has come along plus a few who have history but that appear's all! As for a new up and coming striker joing Charlie Austin I won't hold my breath. Another one looking for a last chance pay day maybe! I am also of the opinion that Tom Hitchcock should now get his chance, nothing ventured nothing gained, and he cannot do any worse than the others, excluding Charlie.

He is another has been. We need a younger fitter mobile forward who can score.

                        I would SETTLE for him.

IMHO he would have to play with Austin, definitely not up on his own. And only play him in the championship. If we was to get promoted he would be one of the first to go as he is no where near good enough for the premiership.
                        SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

I agree with you Nick, I think the combination might work as Charlie will be number one and Tom the very keen apprentice. It really might work.
With the long term ambitions the club now has there is no place for any more ego's that is for sure.

                              Good point on the ego's

That's what almost destroyed this club last time around. Luckily we've got shoot of them. Last thing we need is poison in the camp.
