It may sound silly of course but Neil seemed a kinder man than Harry and I think it rubbed off on the team in our promotion season, providing that little bit of going the extra mile impetus thing that we are missing this season. I believe with Neil players felt more like they were part of a big family, not just a team, and you give your 110% for your family. Yes, I'd rather blame the manager than the players at this point.

The manager picks the players. HR has had the time and money to bring in players he wants. If the players aren't good enough it is on him.
And, of course, if we get promoted then HR will deserve the credit!'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.
