  • Controversy for some.... But

Just shows how important Joey Barton is to us. Some part of him must of been rubbing his hands after watching that. He's the man who makes us tick. I know it will upset some but tonight it showed how much we miss him (and Austin).

Them two are the heart of the team. Without them we die.

There are only six faultless players at our club: Green, Hill, Dunne, Ohouha, Joey and Austin....

Hill and Dunne are good honest pros who look good when mostly
Protected. When they aren't they get caught out alot, especially Hill

Certainly proves how good Austin is as he manages to lead the line single handed and score.

This the same Joey Barton that got himself sent off for gobbing off with 10 minutes of a vital game against a promotion rival leaving his team mates with ten men ? Yeah he's faultless

Errr ... if Joey is so "faultless", how do you explain the stupid, petulant acts that got him sent off on Saturday, resulting in him missing tonight's game? I'd be hopping mad with him for being an idiot; weakening the side & letting down his manager & team mates.

                  But, that's just me!

He's carried us all season, so earned his silly strop....... Am more ****ed off with the rest of the useless midfield to be honest.

I do agree with you that the rest of the midfield should be ashamed of themselves but Joey let us down Saturday . He knows we need him and he knows that refs are begging to send him off . He acts all high and mighty and then screws us over like that . I like Joey and think he's been great this season but what he did Saturday was immature and inexcusable . Let's hope he doesn't do it again as we are clearly ****** without him

I agree with that. And I bet Joey does too.

I hope he does mate . Bad night all round , very very frustrating as we should be so much better than that . The lack of effort and basic ability to retain the ball and attack the opposition was embarrassing

We have had one player sent off all season, one of the best records in the country. It happens, hes that type of player who gets involved in everything. Its nothing major, just a mistake. Cant blame him to much for it imho. We would of lost that game or any game in the division tonight. Nobody can score but charlie and he wasnt playing. So it means rangers niil. Same as what will be next to our name on saturday as well if Austins out.
