The player Abdoun who turned simpson inside out before firing in the cross for their first goal is a class act and was causing problems on both sides of the pitch. Some of our rivals have longer established togetherness than we have. TF wants to go up right now because of the money. Maybe that's an added burden instead of rebuilding over two or three seasons.

Haha my thoughts exactly! There were at least 6 players who were far worse than BAE last night and he is by far the best LB in the division no question

Tottenham will seek a new left back in January, and while high-profile targets have come into the reckoning, they may instead look to recall on-loan Benoit Assou-Ekotto from Harry Redknapp's QPR.

This would be very bad news as we don't have a replacement near as good as this cat IMHO!

can't believe so many anti BAE. Simpson causes me more concern than him. Maybe because he's not the "right sort"?

a lot of our play breaks down from benni and simpson , they are forever passing it backwards. they dont move the ball quick enough for me . give it to carroll and he will only pass it backwards and sidewards , give it to hoilett and he'll lose it . its very frustrating watching . we could have been at watford a week and still wouldnt have scored

To be fair, with only one up front, there is nowhere else for them to go if Hoillett/Phillips are marked or not in a position to receive the ball. I would sooner they kept possession in that case. The issue is that the CMs always come back to receive the ball, instead of finding space further up the field. If they made runs and did that, they would take some of the opposition players out of the equation and we would naturally move forward faster.

Benni is a top left with exceptional control of the ball, he is the best LB in the champ and is prem class. I will be surprised if he goes back as his not a big fan of Sherwood's hence them looking at lots of possibilities for a LB

Hope you're right Webbie. Top player, as you say. Can't believe some are slating him.

Good defensively, average going forward. No Walker.

No his not like walker going forward but he also doesn't get caught out like walker by being to high up the pitch
