Didn't Joey Barton say in his insideRs inteview the problems at the club had nothing to do with Adel? So why all the talk he split the dressing room? I would look more at Boswinga, Cisse, etc.

I like Adel. Great skill to come off the bench when the gameplan isn't working. As for saying he only turns up for the big games - I can't recall that many "big games" in the championship and he was brilliant.

I know you probably don't allow "my kind" around here but I was wondering if you could give me an opinion on Taarabt. I am indeed a Fulham fan and I must say I he played really well against Manchester City but what are his main flaws? I understand he is very greedy and runs with the ball too much but this isn't ALWAYS a bad thing. Would you take him back at QPR? Or is that the end for Taarabt at QPR? Obviously everyone is going to have different opinions on the matter so it would be nice if a few people would answer the question(s) before it gets taken down from an admin because I'm a Fulham fan.
Also, How do you see your season going? from what I've seen you're a REAL force and I believe you'll get promoted (which pains me to say :P) but in all seriousness, are you optimistic? Do you feel you'll get at least a play-off spot? Also who are the key players in your team as from what I've seen of you this season Zamora and Johnson haven't been involved at all and have been poor since joining on Fulham due to injuries I suspect. From what I've seen Joey Barton has been solid in midfield and Charlie Austin has been a machine upfront, obviously I have seen very little so it would be nice to hear how you guys are doing.
I didn't come here to flame or to be flamed at, I came here because I love Football and like learning about other teams, especially the championship as I feel it's the best league in England due to the up's and down's from the start of the season till the end.
I am hoping I get treated well but I know that a lot of people will flame at me because I'm a Fulham fan.
Peace,
Walsh
Best of luck on your quest to achieve relegation back to the Championship, not that you need much luck, as you seem to be doing a fab job of it at the mo on your own.

Replacing Berbatov with Zamora certainly will change your fortunes around and both should see you to safety. You will need them both though as one can't be injured without the other and it's important that they kept together at all times for comfort. Harry has said that we'll be doing a 3 for 2 offer in the sales so if you come back in for those two he'll probably throw in Taarabt. Without those two signings in January I doubt we'll play you again, but have no fear, you'll be back playing your biggest rival next season as Brentford are certs for the Championship.

All this "he didn't want to play for us so get rid!!!!!" stuff is ridiculous.
Even if we were to put aside the fact that a guy who tore up the entire league last time he played at this level and had just created more chances than almost anyone in the PL despite playing for a terrible team might have a good reason to not want to drop down a division...
Barton spent all spring slagging us off on twitter, saying he wouldn't play in the championship next season, that he regretted joining us for money etc etc. This is all on the record. And now he is a hero even though he, er, didn't want to play for us in the Championship. If Martinez had fancied him a bit more, or Marseilles had had a bit more money, he'd be off.
So why, exactly, is this something to count against Adel? Where are the actual quotes from him slagging off our club?
A lot of credulous types love to jump onto the latest HR 'figure of hate'. It's Adel now, it'll be someone else once it suits HR. Wake up.

And yeah I'd swap HR for Adel too. We're spending a ridiculous amount more than any other side in the division, Paul Hart could probably get us up this year too. But I want football to be fun, and that means Adel, tantrums and all; we were lucky to have three years of one of the most outrageously entertaining players in the entire country playing in our 17k tin shed. And we've replaced him with Gary O'Neill and sideways passing. Yay.

Adel is problematic. However, when in form he's as good as two or three of our current players put together! Now this may be a bit complicated as HR do not like Adel and he made it clear. Sometimes a man have to swallow his pride to be real. Let's face the facts. We lost two of our last five games. We only won 11 points from the last 21 available. Does this send any alarm? We're been saying it all along....struggling to score goals, playing with one striker, too many possession without real effect. If our defence was not so solid, we will be way down the top spots. Will Adel change things. First Harry must be convinced about him. But Harry was convinced and changed his mind on Barton; now, he changed his mind on Traore as well....maybe a clear indication that BAE is on his way back to Spurs. I will take the gamble of bringing back Adel....if he still be a problem, he can have the same Julio Cesar treatment!
