Couldn't agree more mate. Very frustrating.

Some will say it's good to retain possession. Me personally I think it's because we run out of ideas.

And why we do that Jimmy? I think we have too much similar kind of players: Carroll, O'Neil, Phillips, Hoilett, Jenas, Henry, Barton - those with no creativity. I don't say they are bad players, but too similar.

Exactly that! 20 passes to go nowhere. Every week. We all said a long time ago we can't keep nicking games by the odd goal & it's starting to hurt us now IMO. Teams know we don't score a lot so score and shut up shop or try & nick one more. We're not exactly prolific.

Seven goals from that lot this season. It's not good enough. The next three games will prove if we're good enough. I'm not convinced we are....

He did nothing wrong????? Thought he was really poor today. If the reason he can get away with his size is his passing ability, then he becomes useless when passing fails him. Did cover a lot of ground, but very poor today

I don't think he's 'top class' personally but he's clearly a talented player. People talk about him going sideways or backwards have you ever played centre mid when only one up front & trying to pick out a pass through a cluster of players? Not easy. By passing back or to the side we keep possession. Not ideal no but this is where I think Redknapp's tactics are poor. Couple that with pretty ineffective wingers & it makes for a struggle.

I agree with Facto, I am not convince that we are a top two club. We are better organised at the back but we are missing creativity and finishing big time. I believe we will be in the playoffs.

We should of been whipping balls into the box in the second half as I think LFC would of struggled but we were clueless. I would still like to see O in the back four as he has the pace and athlectism.

The jury is still out on Carroll for me, clearly loads of talent and potential but also very lightweight and lacks composure in the final third. I suppose he's not with us cos he's the finished article, still very much learning his trade but I'm not totally convinced he is what we need in the centre of the park. I think poor decision making from him, particularly in attacking areas really cost us yesterday!

Still young and learning. I think Benayoun should start and Carroll could come from the bench depending on the games.

Can't agree at all, nothings perfect but I thought Carroll was good yesterday, about the same level as Barton and better than O'Neil, and that the problem was not in the first third but in the final third, where there is not enough quality at present to deliver the goals.

Maybe the club thought that Hoilett and Phillips were going to score lots of goals. Harry has given the wingers the freedom to go for goal this season, but...

we play a strange game, try and pass it through but have no one in the middle to link with the forwards. Much better when we attack down the wings. I dont like the bloke but Konchesky had Phillips in his pocket yesterday . restricted his threat to a minimum
