Really not impressed by him today. Have to say I don't see what he brings to the team. Can't shoot, his passing may be long and raking but not clever in behind like Kranchar's imo.

Lightweight and slow; Carroll and Nico. Carroll too often does nothing with the ball. He certainly allergic to carrying it into space in their half.

1 bad game in 9/10 and suddenly he brings nothing to the team. Hmm.

Not his best today, but I like the way he plays. Always looking for the ball, gets his head up quickly, and is looking for a pass. He seems to be able to make space for himself, which is a very useful skill to have in your locker.

Him and Barton covered a hell of a lot of ground in the midfield while Krancjar wandered about in that first half, different style of player, and I actually quite like having him and Joey in the middle together. Far better a pairing than any other we have.

He did nothing wrong. Please stop having a go at people over one bit of misfortune

So what's his game then? I don't see him on the score sheet or assists. He receives the ball deep turns hits a long raking pass to the wings. Can't tackle, seems slow. Just my opinion. Seems the difference between him and Henry is he kicks like a rugby fullback, to the wings, only difference is the rugby player's looking for touch. For me he needs to bring more to the game.

No penetration, sideways passing, back to the keeper, linking up with players who are linking up with him….going around in circles!

Off the pitch you may talk rubbish, but this is spot on.

Really? I think he's top class, too good for Rangers
                      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Hardly mate. Certainly not our worst player today, but nowhere close to being too good for anyone.

Have to say the backwards passing is really starting to wind me up especially when there is no pressure to do so. Keeper can kick it long but gives it to Hill or Dunne who take two steps forwards with the ball stop turn back and give it to Green to lump forward why not just lump in forward at the first opportunity and cut out the middle men instead of possibly getting caught on the ball

He has been average for us. Nothing more and nothing less. I thought he would be better than what he has been IMO.
