At the moment fans aren't turning up is due to:
    1) restricted views
    2) family end in the wrong place
    3) ticket prices
    4) bleeding knees
    5) being over 5 foot 2
    6) it's on Sky
    7) schedule changes
    8) warm beer
    Etc etc ....
If all was perfect we would have 40k as we took to Cardiff...reality is unless issues concerning the core support are resolved we are going to have less than the 12k diehards who currently turn up.

W12. Where is this area that's worse affected that most fans are coming from out of interest?
From White City straight up the A40, from Hammersmith and Ealing as as well.

All journeys change, you have to go in to come back out, take an additional train further adding to the risk of delay.

Its easy to look at timetables and say in theory this is how you do it and supporters will factor in additional time. The point I'm making is this, transport links are not and will not be better and you can spin it how ever you want. I can think off half a dozen different ways to get there but none of them better my present travelling experience.

a development of that size they will improve bus links early at least

I would think good links would be a priority for the board for the stadium both match day
and for other events,,,which will be nice for you w12 cos I bet youll be at most of the
        concerts

Why would I 'spin it' ? What am I gaining? I couldn't give a toss. I'm stating facts. From Ealing, central line to bush and Overground. Hammersmith I agree is slightly awkward but again you just have to add a few mins on. Like I said previously for others it's cutting the journey or no difference time wise at all.

I hear what you saying W12 but for those on the H&C line just jump that to Paddington then jump on the Bakerloo and your more or less at Junction. Granted there is an element of inconvenience but its straight forward enough

You have jogged my memory with the above as my mate works on LU and he advised few months back that TFL are doing a feasibility study into re-opening station which was closed some time ago on Scrubs Lane. Bit before my time so do any old timers know what station it was and what line it served?? Putting two and two together would assume they are a stakeholder in project and are considering reintroducing the station as part of the project as its close to the proposed regeneration project

I think you're right about the bus links and believe this would be choice of transport over trains on matchday for many

Can't wait for the concerts its what excites me most about the move

I wonder if they are considering a mono rail (docklands light style) could have a shuttle from some convenient point

That's sounds about right as he mentioned a North Pole Station and pointed in that direction as we turned up Du Cane Road .

How close would that station be, if reintroduced, to the proposed site??
