the Hammersmith badge was changed because the club could not copyright it ,but at the time they gave a lame excuse that all their luck had fallen out of the horseshoes
ha!!!, that'll f*ck up a few arguments regarding the crest. All i've seen is "i don't like the curly bits" normally followed by "it ain't us", sometimes followed by "get the hammersmith crest back."
seems flav and the mittals (all those who keep saying it was flav's crest) had more idea on qpr's identity than some of our fans!!!!
dave me old mucker , i like a lot of your posts but on this one you have missed the point. I think a lot of our fans dont like the crest because of the people who it is linked ie flabio and dwarfboy. I think if tf had introduced this crest when "he" took over you would find most of the fans would except it! Some scars take along time to heal but flabio will always be a **** in my book!
LONDON CALLING TO THE ZOMBIES OF DEATH.... ALSO KNOW AS BRENTFORD FANS
A very good read about the old Hammersmith badge and the controversy that it caused when it was first adopted as a lot of the Queen's Park based supporters felt it didn't represent the club.

Regarding the so called "feather boa", I think it looks natural on the Hammersmith badge and fits in with the rest of the design. On the current badge, it looks ridiculously out of place. It isn't just about the "feather boa", the context is critical!
