Legs is a good player, but we should not be accomodating players because we have brought in Watson. If Watson is better than Legiterwood, then he should go on the bench, not right back where Ramage has been good this season.

Not good for team morale, keep chopping and changing.

We were discussing this in the pub yesterday-Ok, lets say Ramage played right-back yesterday, who would have been skipper? Because I reckon that was part of the reason for dropping Ramage to the bench, purely to accomodate Legs as skipper. This is one of the problems of not building a side, just signing players and then trying to work out what to do with them.
And if Rowlands is fit, will he be right-back instead of Legs? Or would one of yesterdays midfield 4 drop out? Watson would have to play, same with Faurlin due to the money spent on him, so probably Hogan then.
So who plays on the left?
      Buz????????

I still hope that Simpson will come good, but don't know whether its by design, he seems to be a lone striker. Tarrabt is the one who seems to have a free role?

As for our midfield, I'd let Buzsacky start on the left instead of Hogan. Where we put Rowlands is going to be a difficult choice, some would say nice headache to have, but why can we not stick to playing 11 players for 90 minutes and change it, if we get injuries.

Seems. like we are trying to please everyone.

Fawny that would require joined-up thinking-something we don't have at QPR.
It's a bit like the UK having an integrated transport policy.

Dropping Ramage was a totally shocking decision and should never of happened, if Legiertwood is not good enough for CM then he should be dropped to the bench. One good game at RB against Reading does not mean he is better in that position than Ramage, he was brought in to contain Stephen Hunt and he done a good job that day that was it.

Thought we struggled yesterday because of Borrowdale and Legiertwood in the full back positions, bring Gorkks back in the middle and move Connolly LB and Ramage to RB. Borrowdale for me hides and is frightened of the ball, he broke clear in the first half and found himself clear in a great chance to either shoot or cross to Simpson and totally bottled it before waving his arms about as if to say I done my job, I watched him do this 2/3 times during the match the man is a fraud. So not ideal but Connolly should be moved back to LB and Stewart and Gorkks back into the centre.
100% agree with this Legs defended very poorly IMO often out of position and on more than one occasion got caught in possession in dangerous areas...Offered little or nothing in terms of support for Routledge.

That's simple - the man himself - Ramage. Not only is he dependable - when has he ever let the team down? But he shows more commitment to the cause than any other player on the pitch. Ramage for captain!!!

i thought legs was good - in any case plenty more pressing problems to be worrying about than the right back slot. like - have the team been training hard and building up some much needed understanding; will an overweight and unreliable stewart now be dropped for gorks; and is helguson back fit because boy do we need him (and I didn't think I'd be saying that a few weeks ago...)
