How many ST Holders are active on twitter , I doubt its 5%

    I use Twitter, it's a brilliant thing.

I've never tweeted anyone famous. Apart from talking to Phil Jupitus about black-pudding scotch eggs, but he did ask the question tbf.

It's been a brilliant way to find people, places and businesses in our area that I probably wouldn't have done otherwise. The clutter and celebrity nonsense is totally avoidable if you want to do so.
I don't like and find deciphering it hard work. I also think its a bit weird that people send messages to famous people they don't know.

I think my girlfriend has an account but thats the only person I know who uses it

Thinking that our board fully comprises idiots is not only disrespectful but highly embarrassing, not just for the individuals concerned, but our club in general.
Of course not. i dont believe the board give a **** what the fans want anyhow. They have been after this from the start and it wouldnt matter in the slightest if the majority have fans were against it and not a minority. TF says all the right things in the media and in social media, he is not stupid and nor are the board for making him the figurehead. He uses social media to perfection and has a lot of fans eating out of his hand.

I get you don't use it, that doesn't mean it is worthless as a source of feedback for the club. It's just the most immediate.

Also, the idea of people being interested in famous people and wanting to talk to them is not exactly a new and terrifying phenomenon.

Fan forum invitations are based on club loyalty points which I would would say is pretty fair. They'll also be engaging fans on the official website as well as through all the social media platforms, as is the modern way. I'm sure there'll be other ways too.

If you can think of equally or more comprehensive ways then why don't you get involved yourself and engage with the club (instead of nothing but your negativity and cynicism on here)? That's exactly the thing they want to encourage - I'm sure they'd be more than happy to listen to your suggestions.

Can't bring himself to listen to it because it will mean him having to eat some form of humble pie possibly? The chap in question has never really had a positive word to say about the board. Nit picks, twists or always looks for something to jump on. Certainly not the only one as there's a few in the same boat. They've made there decision and you won't change their agenda. Can't see why your bothering to get in to a debate over it. The next thing they'll be ready to jump on will be the end of year accounts, the transfer policy for the Jan window, a dip in a players form or our ageing squad. Not saying us as supporters shouldn't have any concerns, but some who call themselves fans just seems like they are just waiting for something to go wrong so they can say "I told you so."

I'm convinced we have the best board in the country. Doubt there will be many clubs who wouldn't give their right arm to have owners like we do. They've made mistakes and they've learnt from them the hard way and I doubt they will allow it to happen again anytime soon. I'm not trying to impose my views on anyone, just don't understand why some do nothing but go out of their way to post nothing but negativity towards the clubs collective owners.

              Listeneing to the interview

What a knob that Finney is...."Tony, Tony remember me", what a eejit as he admits

Don't agree with the so called feedback he has recieved on capacity, I don't believe its representative of the fansbase, its clear to me this decision is not based on fans feedback its based on what the shareholders want. Spin it how you want but twitter is not best way to get feedback

The land aquisition progress sounds very positive and its unlikely that this is going to be a problem by the sounds off it

Non-committal on stadium design but if they can replicate LR Design something I've always advocated that would be positive

Looking at club owning ground in a round about way (thought this was a unclear what he was saying)

                That is quite a statement.

Have you listened to it yet?

When you say it's the so-called feedback is not representative, do you actually mean 'I disagree with the feedback received so far'?

Nobody is saying that Twitter is the best way to get feedback, but it's one of the ways. Is this not being put clearly enough for you?

I put it in the same boat as the PR departments twitter fests of "Watch our amazing 10 pass move" " Watch Gary O'Neils Amazing pass" "Watch BAE amazing interception" just sh1t for the masses to gobble up and all in the name of branding and acquiring a "twitter presence". Started to listen to it but moon faces voice and ego put me off.

It's just more spin. If he was on twitter he'd be using these symbols...

Bet the people most impressed with Fernandes and his "love" of the fans are the ones that were impressed with the QPR plane :-) Heard one the other day bragging about it to his non QPR mate .....jesus wept i think we have some desperate fans out there who are just lapping up the PR overkill from Fernandes and co.

Also, no-one's spotted that our winning games and being top of the league is just a ploy to make us more receptive to Tony building us this new stadium. I don't buy it for a second. All very convenient.

They also only bought Charlie Austin to lull the stupid Tony-worshippers into a false sense of enjoying these so-called goals that he scores.

We've actually being losing these games but the suckers haven't spotted it due to Tony tweeting live 'updates' to our scoreboards to fool the dribbling idiots in the crowd. The ones that aren't as clever as I am for spotting them.

                          Fools.

"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

Be honest Deeps. look at some of the stuff put out by the IT (PR) department and it is a tad.....desperate? Yes we are doing well in the league and they should leave it at that without all the twitter presence and branding nonsense. All that big deal the other day because we had a hashtag on the dugout that nobody was close enough to even read or last season with the "worlds first 3D programme". FFS they are trying too hard and it shows. Giving the plane a paint job...the incessant tweets and countdown before their online magazine hits the twitter shelves ,decent online mag tbf but ffs talk about constantly blowing their own trumpet. TF has turned trumpet blowing into an art form with his media sound bytes and interviews, maybe not so much this season but you can be damned sure he will be back with a vengeance once we get back in the prem and he can use and abuse our profile.

Yes I disagree with it and so would the vast majority of fans and locals who might support other teams I know. I have never met a QPRfan who thinks we need a capacity like this.

Twitter maybe one of the ways but please don't tell me the club have gone out of their way to get feedback....they really haven't. I'm not saying the Board are completely out of touch with fans at all I just think some people want to believe it more than others despite that this is what QPR fans think we need.

I don't dislike Fernandes its actually his little fan club which make it look like that , I just think TF can throw a section of our support a bone and they will chase it every time.
