Ok granted certain European cups aren't very interesting, but never the less its an achievement getting there.

But your telling me "qpr on tour" doesn't have a good ring

      • The old UEFA Cup was a far better and more interesting competition than the Europa League. It was a straight knock-out for a start.

The Slovan Bratislava side we beat contained 7-8 members of the Czechoslovak team that won the European Championship in 1976. 3-3 away and 5-2 at home. Fantastic stuff.

Is there any need for name calling? I've no idea of who you are or how old you are, but I'd guess about 12.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

the football at any new ground will be a side line, the stadium/arena will be for one direction, rod stewart and slade comebacks....boxing and celebrity ice skating disney in the jungle with factor ballroom dancing!!!
parking will be ltd or non existent and much depends on tube/overground, and as the govt have cut the tube budget £20bn over 8 yrs and 100s of jobs going, i doubt tfl can stump up ( this was a big thing for the emirates and arsenal were meant to pay costs for upgrading holloway road and didn't,.....also drayton park was meant to be open and it isn't)
40,000 or even 25000 will all be heading to a few stations, thru luxury apartments and ikeas!
we have not sold out leicesster game yet, with ticket deals for £10!! there's the reality, top of the table tie and not sold out. even if on tv we only have to shift 18000, imagine trying for another 12000???

I see some sense in that, and that is one way to get young gans coming in and getting hooked on watching QPR.

I also see sense in building a 30-35,000 seater stadium, but it must have room for expansion, just in case QPR do become a successful Premiership club and outgrow a 35,000 seater stadium.

More fans often means more spending power, which often leads to a better side and chance to win trophies. Of course, it doesn't always work out that way.

                    • I want 120k stadium that dwarfs wembley and the emirates but with steep sides like basel stadium. I want it deep blue and black with twisted gothic towers and flying buttresses like a giant evil cathedral type nightmare from the depths of a gotham city Batman gone bad, so intimidating that opposing fans literally **** themselves on approach and have to be dragged kicking and screaming into the stand to witness the demise of their heroes.

And as I will alight at North Acton i want one of those super tube capsules to take me from there to the ground, like the transporter in starship troopers that goes whoooosh really fast

I will tweet Tony. gotta stop this 30/35k nonsense, go large Tony
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

                        Haha you fruit

So I'm not in my 40's big deal, still old enough to have grown up watching QPR as a top flight team until I left school.

We've had our season when we nearly won the league , it will never happen again so unfortunately for me I'll have to settle for a few Championship titles, maybe even an FA Cup and historic run into the last 16 of the Uefa Cup the following season. I don't hang onto school boy dreams or something that happened 37 years ago. Football in this country is elitist, you'll never se a provincial team seriously challenge for top honours again.
