Kids go free ? ? ? ....... My Nephew got tickets for Wigan free when he was at school, hasn't done much to fill their stadium even with an FA Cup final & European football.

Listened to Stan Collymore commenting on the United / Villa game today and he said the only time Villa Park sells out is once a season against United ...........
They are an established (allegedly the biggest midlands team) top flight team in the second biggest city in the uk with good rail links ......... Villa park holds 42,000 by the way !
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

Sorry for pointing out the bleed'n obvious but kids WILL grow up to be the next generation of R's so we should be Helping get 'em through the gates!! on a side note re safe standing and ticket prices,According to a current article on the Beeb news website,a seat ticket if priced along the lines of an old terrace ticket would now cost around £16!

Defo Keep prices affordable and put out a team that can give us hope of the odd upset or cup run and keep us in the prem we'd easy get 25-30,000 to get 40k we'd actually have to be challenging for euro slots cups etc Football in England has been hijacked by Murdoch's SKY and sold back to us at treble the price, sicking really,Wouldn't mind if the all that TV money helped keep ticket prices down but all I see it doing is enabling Players to be paid in a week what the man in the stand gets paid in a year if hes lucky! gotta keep the prices affordable..I'll get off my soap box now

This safe standing is a massive fob off, a little biscuit to keep those who should know better sweet.

London Pride has been handed down to us.

What it does show is the board haven't done a proper feasibility study like some on here believe

Also says to me there is no real stadium design in place and that this whole thing is still a load of "ifs' and 'buts'.

Very true mate.. Rail seats aren't the real thing.only a hand full of German clubs use 'em most that have standing, have PROPER terracing NOT pony rail seats or bolt on seat or any of the other watered down versions but actual old skool terracing properly managed and perfectly safe,oh and cheap for the support too...

So Tony Fernandes and the rest of the board have been planning this for how long and they are now back peddling on the stadium size , I don't doubt the sentiment but this is a little bit embarrassing.

When Uncle Tony tweets his fan club rally and defend his honour….I get it, the man can do no wrong in your eyes.

I don't dislike him, I just don't particularly like him either.

One day we are announcing to the world we are bout to build a 40k seater stadium, its all over sky sports with write ups in the press etc. Then two days later with a little bit of criticism from some fans…"hold up we might have got it wrong, what do you think?"

No wonder fans of other clubs think he is a fool, meanwhile we've got the likes of Dicky Boy telling us these business experts know a little bit more than your average QPR fan etc.

We all want to see QPR move forward, its just some of us are a little bit more realistic than others.

People were going on about they must of instructed "experts" and undertaken feasibility tests, posters were upset that simple fans dare question the fact that we needed or could fill a stadium the size of Anfield.
It is clear TF thinks we were right.
Not stifling ambition just talking common sense.
                                Anfield's 45k.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
