    Tony Fernandes @tonyfernandes
Feedback so far. Maybe a smaller arena 30 or 35. 40 maybe to big straight away. Will look at modular. Keep feeling of Loftus. For sure.

If this doesnt prove that Fernandes listens to the fans, I dont know what does.

I hope this resonates with TF

@tonyfernandes keep it 40k. Kids under 10 go free at all games, keeps them away from other clubs & build for the future & next generation.

Great idea .....if the cost is around the same may as well go 40k and set us up for the future

But doesn't it prove that those saying 40k was too big were correct.
People were going on about they must of instructed "experts" and undertaken feasibility tests, posters were upset that simple fans dare question the fact that we needed or could fill a stadium the size of Anfield.
It is clear TF thinks we were right.
Not stifling ambition just talking common sense.

Or is just replying to those who have moaned to him by tweets?.....where as most are happy to let him build what he thinks will work to his plans, haven't been whining at him

That's not how the tweet comes across.
TF when he joined said he wanted to bring back the connection with the club and the fans, it was basically a dig at Tango and Cash.
The fact that on a major issue such as a stadium move, fans want to comment then it's clear TF will want to listen and that's how the tweet came across.
You can't have it both ways have a go and tango and cash for being distant and then as you say he builds what he wants.
On the whole the ones who queried the 40k weren't anti TF but knowing the club thought it was far too big and TF appears to recognise it.
Some posters are forwarding ideas of filling a 40k stadium by giving ST to new home owners to letting in children for free, I would think a hard nosed businessmen like tony would think that was ridiculous compared to fans querying the proposed capacity, which is perfectly sensible and reasonable position to take as Tony has highlighted.

Rubbish atmosphere if half the crowd were kids under ten...... Terrible idea.

Letting kids in under ten for free is not as ridiculous as it sounds, it makes it possible for parents to give their kids the lifelong passion that is QPR. If you are planning on building a bigger fan-base then that is surely the way to go.

Half the crowd would not be kids, that's a dumb argument.

I think kids under 10 accompanied by an adult in a family stand is a cracking idea,I take that and raise you...A complete single tier Safe Standing end!!!

Yeah good point on the Tango and cash issue tblock. Tell you what i will say if building a 30/35,000 seater brings us all together then i'm all for it. we're all Rangers and we all want what's best
and i want us all to be happy with a major decision like this. Trouble with these type of debates is we all have our views and are then reluctant to back down and argue the point for the hell of it.
Btw letting in kids for a quid imo is great idea....get them hooked on the Rs instead of those other 2 clubs nearby
