Disagree, the Standard (indeed any local press) does work - if done right. Fulham have proved that..it was the offer on the table, not the medium.

Scott it might work in the premiership but it doesnt work in the chapionship when the opposition is the Posh and its certainly not as effective as simply retaining your existing hardcore support!

Understand what you are saying but its the £££.

No one who is "new" to QPR or lapsed will pay the prices that we have on offer. The standard advert a) looked cack and b) was verging on a lie. The prices they quoted were for bronze areas as far as adults were concerned and plugging cheap and free kids tickets was misleading as they were only available in the lower loft. So anyone that did enquire would have had a shock when they saw the real prices and not bothered.

Bringing 3 newbies to the Palace game and had to fork out £30 a ticket for them. Sorry, but £30 aint value for money (and chuck in teh frigging £3.50 admin fee and well, i just spent near on a oner)

Most teams were down yesterday. Look at Crystal Palace for example.

If, I was at the club I would be alarmed at the high figure (comparative) first game against Blackpool to 4,000 less in the space of about 6 weeks.

Fulham make the advertising work, because they are in the premiership and win games.

Home game against Peterborugh is not going to appeal to a fringe supporter. What they should actually be doing, is advertise the bigger games (if they really have to) could be the difference between 14,000 or 16,000.

Why would you want to pay 25 quid to watch the football we are being subjected to every Saturday?

QPR is over priced. People are voting with their feet and I don't blame them.

I brought my mate yesterday who is a spurs fan..

I think the most entertaining bit of his day was his half time pie.

                          PeterG has it about right

                          1) treat the fans with the respect we deserve

                          2) drop prices to a reasonable amount that will make Mums & Dads bring their kids

                          3) sign some quality players that would make the disgruntled fans return in their droves

                          4) win some frigging games

                          simple

yesterdays performance made my mind up about Tuesday nights game anyhow...not gonna bother going to it now :( costs me £20 in petrol and another £30 in other expenses so even though my son and i are ST holders and in effect have already paid for the seats just dont see the value in bothering when most of the players cant be bothered either
