They did and Reading used to get 5,000 as did Fulham, but hey ho, we are QPR and need to be held back and always remain a small club looking to get a win over Chelsea Arsenal and Tottenham once or twice a decade!

This wont be happening anytime over the next 5 -10 years, so those of you who want to remain at Loftus Road, can still enjoy it for a good while yet.

Youngsters growing up supporting QPR is the ideal scenario. I have to be honest anyone that supported a different club then changed after a certain age i look down on as not a true fan. They are never really accepted as proper fans are they? Mate of my sons has been a Charlton fan like his dad since birth but has recently started coming with us to rangers. He has apparently mentioned to my son that he intends to start supporting us now and is going to tell his dad before the next home game. If i was his dad i would be devastated , its like your boy coming home and telling you he is queer. Definate wrong-un and will never be a proper rangers fan in my eyes.

You have to say thats impressive. Has any club ever invented and made a whole new town before? Are we the first in the world, and in a lot of the worlds eyes, doing it in the best and biggest city in the world as well.
MK Dons all over again mate (but without the concrete cows)
Those that lived in MK get their own team to support while all the old grizzled Wimbledon fans are left to rot. Everyones a winner and those that arent be ****ing quiet cos everyones a winner.

Milton keynes was there a long long time before the football club, and that didnt bring anymore people or housing to the area, so ive got to disagree whole heartedly.

Don't be foolish. The only new fans allowed are those born into 'the QPR Family'.

We don't want foreigners or new local residents to start supporting QPR.

25k new homes which i am sure TF will be hoping a high percentage of these will be using the venues shops/restaurants/cinemas/music venue etc and probably hopes to "convert" a percentage into new found rangers fans. Not exactly filling me with excitement tbh knowing that i might be sitting next to an ex-cockney red that has got fed up watching his beloved Manchester United on the box.

That would be a sensible idea.

25,000 tickets at £20-35 at today's prices (with concessions for Kids elderly etc), would be a decent way to start.

If, and this is a big if, the TV money keeps rolling in, clubs shouldnt need to rely on big gate receipts, but rather on being successful on the pitch (earning more by being shown on TV more often) and getting bigger sponsorship, advertising deals and selling more merchandise. Oh and charge a smalle fortune for those in the executuive boxes!

That is the way to ruin the club. what i the children did not follow QPR, the fan base would dwindle with every generation until only a handful of oldies turn up to watch the team....playing in the park!
