Older guys will remember the days when Liverpool and Forest were unstoppable. Football, like empires, is cyclical. Man Utd's decline could be happening right now. Shame

By the way, what's the only ship never to have docked in Liverpool?

      The premiership
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

This is what I'm getting at.
You could have the best manager in the world, if the players can't be arsed due to personal issues, it's curtains for the manager.

You could argue that certain managers aren't really that bothered and quite like a 3 year pay out for being our of work.

United aren't finished as they will still be able to attract better players than half the PL teams, but they could definitely be in for a few barren years in a similar way to Arsenal after their recent(?) successful period.

Personally, I'm looking forward to Chelsea going back to being mediocre mid-table mugs.

A lot of United fans banging on about 'Moyes out!'....if they actually knew a bit of history about their own club they'd know that stability is key..did fergie not prove that? Both seem like similar style managers, similar philosophies and all that. Fergie had a tough start at United didn't he? Cos it wasn't his team! He had to rebuild his own team and start from scratch, just like Moyes has to do now. Don't think they'll do an arsenal/liverpool and go missing for a while, maybe a couple of seasons but not any longer than that.
