Watching Man U tonight, looks like our team that got relegated last season. Players standing around, no closing down or tackling.
Man U look as disinterested as the overpaid t- oss ers at the R's last season.
My theory is players do not want to play for certain managers, and play **** on purpose to get them sacked.

Moyes needs time! That team had no right to win the league last year, it was average at best! But they were Fergie's boys, he knew how to get the best out of them. They won't listen to Moyes, he needs to bring in his own players and start rebuilding the team again.

Yes they are a great side and over the years they have produced some of the greatest players in the world, but I really do hope this is the beginning of the end for them, I really do doubt it but I would love to see them slowly slip away.
They have more than had there day!

I honestly think Man Utd will pass through a long term of instability just like Liverpool and Arsenal.

I think they aren't as good as people think they are and have in part been found out.
Recent years SAF IMHO didn't freshen the team up as he use to with main men coming in and out whether it was cantona, Ronaldo, Ince, Stan, Kanchelskis etc etc...he seemed in recent time to simply rely on old guard like rio, giggs and scholes and players that aren't really top players like Wellback and Evans. Also players with promise like Smalling never really stepped up. Say you were Madrid, Chelsea or City the only utd players you would be interested in are Rooney or RVP.
Miracle is how SAF managed in the last few years to continue to dominate with the players at his disposal, other clubs really didn't use the opportunity at all.
Since SAF has gone, it's amazing how good a manager he was, however for Moyes he's taken over a team that lacks quality and a spine, just by being man utd other teams will worry but unless 3 or 4 good signings come in I can't see Moyes replicating SAFs success.

All things considered, I am surprised they beat Shakhter last night. But doubt they will be engaged in a relegation scrap any time soon.

Think this also applied to Berbatov at Fulham.
Strolled around the pitch doing very little under Jol, once he gets the bullet hey presto has two great matches for the new guy.
