To be honest, I'm not too much in a rush to see the Rangers simply make up the numbers in the premiersh!t.
If we could compete, then yes, but if all we can ever hope for is mere survival in the premiersh!t, then I would be happy to be out of it as quickly as poss, and back in a league we not only look good in, but have more than a fair chance of winning.

That for me, would be the ideal scenario Kev........love the champs, even the games against teams "like Yeovil and Bournemouth". A proper league with proper fans, where anyone can beat anyone. Very competitive league where it's not easy to predict who the successful teams will be. As for watching QPR play teams like the ones mentioned above, personally go to watch QPR and not the oppo........don't give a t o $$ who the oppo is. Is there such a thing as football snobbery? Maybe there is!

        And therein lies the key!!

IF we could compete and hold our own then who wouldnt want to be involved in arguably the greatest league in the world?
If however we have to suffer another two years of struggling not to get turned over week in and week out, its no fun whatsoever!
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

        2015/2016, average at best.....

        2016/2017, same old, same old....

        2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

Of course I would want us to play in the Premiership. We had two seasons there and the first one wasn't too bad. There hasn't been more exciting days than the last day of that season!
What do you mean with being competitive in the Premier? I know we would never win the Premier, but like some one other said - would like to be hard to beat at Loftus Road. Also we would almost every year beat ManU, Chelsea, Arsenal or ManC and that would be almost like a small title for me. Ask about Everton fans - who never can ''compete'' in the Premier - whether they would like to play Championship forever? Think not!

So are you saying that as soon as a club gets promoted to the prem, their fans stop being 'proper' fans?

When we got promoted to the prem I take it you stopped being a proper fan, but since we got relegated your status as a proper fan has been reinstated.....
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Basically not struggling to beat teams like Newcastle, Sunderland, Swansea, Villa, Fulham, West Ham, etc at home.

No, Im saying that there is probably a higher % of plastic fans in the prem, than in the champs. Not that all prem fans are not proper fans.

Trouble is, football has changed so much in the last 20 years, which is proven in the fact people aren't fussed about the Prem. It never used to be like this. And god forbid us thrusting Hoilett and O'Neil into that league again.

Could honestly see myself not renewing my ST again if we go up, got a feeling my dad won't. Buying a new smart TV in the new year so will stream games to that, the moving around of fixtures is too much in the PL it really ends up being a chore. Going to enjoy this season and will enjoy going up but once we are there the excitement will wear off. Sometimes it was like a month between watching matches with international breaks, sky and other teams european adventures causing fixtures to be moved.

I like watching my team now , we have some good tidy players and there is fight there...its good to go the games. Must admit I'd rather watch the PL down the pub its more comfortable and less aggro.

Never gonna win it or get near the top 4/6 and games versus scum and Fulham will be our cup finals. Will have certain fans creaming themselves over having high profile opposition down the Bush and paying extra for it too. The prem is not a competitive league but its where the money is and thats what draws owners like the ones we have. Not thrilled about it and actually prefer the Championship but we as fans have no choice. Bonus is the games will stream weekly onto my big screen TV so its not me personally who will be paying for the "privilege" of watching Rooney and co. Bet we get a few pitchside having their photo's taken with the opposition as the Prem league draws plums like that.

You're supporting the wrong team then, suggest you get transferred up the road to SW6
