Championship football is dire and if premier league football can bring a better quality of player then I am really for it. Come on w12 I know we took 4 pts but did you hand on heart enjoy watching us play Charlton and Blackburn at home. Poor atmosphere and football.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

if we dont aim for the PL whats the point of playing , ok higher prices not good if u are taking kids as well ,£50 away games and those horrible sunday kick offs but its the only way for the club to grow but saying that i think i love it just the way it is

Personally, I want to win the league. I know promotion comes with it but I prefer watching us in the Championship because it is not an anti-competitive division that has reached the point that anybody except the mega rich teams are no-hopers, just happy to be eating at the top table knowing they have no chance (and I mean NO chance!) of ever winning it. So obsessed are they with remaining at the Premier League trough that they play reserve teams in the very competitions they actually have a chance to win (the cups - because of the much bigger luck element) because they are afraid of the remote possibility that an injury or suspension in a cup game could end up causing them to be relegated. Absolutely pathetic.

I want to see my team play at the highest level possible.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Everybody wish his team to play in PL tbh. As for me It is the same but I won't be very disappointed as much as not being able to watch QPR every weekend like in the Premier LEague.

I loved makin it to the PL but hated 98% of the entire time spent there. 2 years of getting turned over isnt good for someone with a pre disposition to depression. And being in the champs i can enjoy MOTD too.

Yes, it is hard to disagree with any of that. I was almost asking a rhetorical question really. I want us to win the league but I do despise many elements of the Premier League. It is just nice for the team you support to be in the top division really.

What would people want if hypothtically they said that if you win the championship, you can have the prem dough but dont have to go up if you dont want to?

I'm struggling to get my head around the fact that some people don't actually want to play in the best league in the world with some of the biggest clubs and players. It's the ultimate prize.
Getting promoted without playing in the prem would be a bit like winning the World Cup and not getting the recognition or not getting the trophy.

                    Put it like this.....

QPR Vs Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool

                    OR

QPR Vs Ipswich, Huddersfield, Yeovil, Doncaster, Bolton

I know who I would prefer.....

The direction this club is going (players, manager/staff, owner's, new training ground/stadium, advertising etc) I can see us being one of the big names in the premiership.

So what do we play for from now on. 7th every season for the rest of our lives?? Had you said it wouldn't be a disaster if we don't go up for a couple of seasons if it means winning a League Cup or FA Cup, then i probably understand how your feeling (well a little bit anyway). But we cant just sit in Championship forever

This is a no brainer for me. Who in their right mind would want to be stuck in the championship playing Yeovil or Bournmouth? I just want us to be a comfortable Premier league side and not go through the nerve racking two seasons we had last time round. This season has been a real bore so far even though we are in the mix. It's hard to get excited about some of these games.

That surely makes us one of, if not the best team in the world.....
