  • Who's really excited about the potential of playing in the PL again?

I personally couldn't care less , I don't really regard it as something to look forward to anymore.

I'm pretty sure I can't be the only one who feels like this ?

Its certainly not all its cracked up to be that's for sure but to have a side capable of being competitive, like Southampton for instance is not out of the question in my opinion especially with a chairman like Fernandes who is more than willing to put his hand in his pocket

Me ....It was where this team competed fairly comfortably until Thompson's policy of keeping selling our best players finally took it's toll....Seaman, Parker, Sinton, Peacock, and finally Ferdinand, along with driving out Gerry Francis. Before that we had 13 seasons was it in the top flight?, and before that the team in the 70s.
Think you must be falling out of love with football

Exactly how I feel too W12. I hope we go up for Tony's sake because he doesn't deserve to lose a bundle on us but the Premier League doesn't do it for me; I much prefer the Championship - where were are competitive and aren't just playing to survive. And if not for the lure of Premier League money, perhaps we'd even try to win the occasional cup game or, heaven forbid, a cup competition!

Not really. Only glimmer of hope I see is that the club / TF / Beard will have learned some VERY expensive lessons from last time round & will be wiser & also we have half a chance of getting in players who will actually do a job with Redknapp at the helm than the last c%nt. other than that can't say I'm jumping through hoops no.

Unfortunately the club needs the money. It is a vicious circle.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

If we go up and have two to four years up and coin it in, then come back down and win the championship again and go straight back up (fingers crossed we are doing it this season), that would be great.

It was pretty depressing stuff in the main. Spent most of it trying our hardest not to lose too badly and very rarely providing any entertainment.

To be honest, I'm starting to feel the same way about this division now. It seems as if the importance of getting promoted back at the first attempt is overtaking the opportunity to play some really good stuff. We have a hell of a lot more points than during the previous 2 seasons and inhabit the top end of the table instead of the bottom. Other than that, I think the football is of generally poor standard, just so happens that the vast majority of other teams seem to be even worse.

I also wish I wasn't such a miserable git at times.

What's the point of even going then if you are not sure you want to win promotion?
