Oh yeah, of course there is no need for rotation because players can play flat out on a saturday and a tuesday and again on a saturday. Sure, sure, Liverpool won the European Cup and the League with 16 players and all that crap. Nevermind that rotation has been around since the early 90's and Villa fell flat late last year because their players were destroyed by the schedule. They also used the least numbers of players last year.

No, no, ALWAYS play your best players.

    yeah, right.

Funny how last season, Owen Coyle managed to play more games than most with largely the same players week in week out, with graham alexander playing over 60 games at 39. The strongest team should be played week in, week out but our problem is we currently have magilton and paladini who don't know their arses from their elbows.

Burnley just lost 4-0 to Liverpool
and are going to get relegated, so
spare me your "messiah" owen coyle.
He made it because Cardiff and other teams folded.

The manager chops and changes the team every game. This must create uncertainty, frustration and inconsistency.

Sticking with your best team and playing it every week will get the best results (if the team is the correct one).

Are you suggesting that we should not keep playing our best team/players because the poor darlings will have to play 90 minutes twice a week ?

We need to play our best team and stop the tinkering. The only way to get confidence and give the players the chance to gel as a team.

I have impression that manager does not yet know his best team. I think also that buzz and vine need to play more games from start to increase fitness. This true even if they have one or two bad games along way back to best. Some patience needed here I think.

it don't matter why or how they got promoted, the revelant point to this thread is that they got promoted playing their strongest team week in week out. Coyle is nor god, but he is a damn good manager which we have not got and will never have under flavio and his merry men.

I've never understood this "rotation" nonsense. Are you saying that NOT playing your strongest eleven, even if all are fit, week in, week out, is the right way to go? :waaaht:

After 6 league games, 2 cup games and pre-season he should know his best team by now.

I don't like the knee-jerk reaction, meaning a 1-1 means that we have to change the team against Palace. This does not create stability and maybe we should give it a run with the same team and see how it goes.

What knee jerk reaction! Paladini/magilton chop and change the team for no Real reason, they are not creating stability by doing this and I can't beleive you are saying the shower that started yesterday should be given a 4+ games run.

Nearly every game Magilton has taken off Taarabt and Faurlin on about 60 minutes, and nothing changes. So the question is why ? Not once have we gone on to win the game, yet he keeps doing the same thing. Tactical substitutions are needed to change the game on occasions, but the same unimaginative substutions just smack of incompetence.

Playing Stewart is quite obvious to most that it is a big mistake.
If your a central defender barring injurys, you should be able to play all games. Get Gorkks in so that him and connelly can build and understanding. For whatever reason he doesn't seem to like Gorkks or Buzacky. With these 2 playing in the side,we have a better side. Also Simpson and Tarrabt is not a good combination upfront. Tarrabt needs when to pass the friggin ball, this is a team game. It was great to meet Dexter in the springboks and seems a real gentleman. Sorry Scott for not calling you I went to the 02 on friday night and stayed at my gf. No computer access to get your number.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
