With hardly any overseas players or the Foreign Premier League that we have now.

I'd settle for the Welsh clubs getting expelled from the English Premier League.Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

Amazing how they get away with all the anti English stuff but we allow them to play in our league . If they are so anti English then perhaps they should **** off back to the valleys

I can understand people wanting an English premier league, but for me, i think what makes the whole set-up more exciting is that there is a potential for surprise with players. Look at bargains like Michu, Ronaldo and Eriksen, these signings would not have been possible if we restricted the amount of foreign players. No one would dare take the risk of wasting one of their foreign spots on someone they are unsure about. Could you imagine if we didn't have these players in our league and what the English equivalent would have been."What stats allow you to do is not take things at face value. The idea that I trust my eyes more than the stats, I just don't buy that because I've seen magicians pull rabbits out of hats and I know I just know that rabbit's not in there." - Billy Beane

I couldn't care less, they've been in the English league setup as long as can remember, why make a fuss about it now, it just looks like sour grapes.

And neither was there the Welsh Assembly which has taken devolved powers, such as sport. Remember, the people of Wales VOTED for that.
Perhaps you'd like to invite a number of Scottish clubs to replace English clubs in the four divisions?Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Ok here's another question....
Would you rather England win a major tournament or keep the set up the same?
Because that's what all this boils down to. If the clubs put money before country then they'll keep it the same, and let's face it most of, if not all of the big clubs are owned by foreigner's any way they would rather keep it as it is and bring over sea's players in and make money out of their names and advertising.
If we want to win a major tournament, then there has to be a cap on the amount of foreigner's there is at a club.
For me, I would rather England won a major tournament and constantly be at the top of the world rankings.SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

On a related note, I hope if Scotland do nick off we get a redesigned Union Flag which has some representation for Wales on it. The BBC had an article recently with some suggestions.
This, or something along these lines, might work
Or this really ugly one
Or maybe retaining the original, and just adding a Welsh flavour...
