  • Attendance last night

Papers saying that the attendance last night was 16,300 odd.

However from where I was in x block there were loads of empty seats all around the ground apart from the school end. As we all know the club count ST holders as attending even if they don't go but 16k was still a bit on the high side. For me it was the first time this season that the ground wasn't packed for a league game.

On the plus side when to get a beer at half time and there was no queue and got served straight away.

Bring back crowds of 12k to 14K, sit were you want and no problems getting refreshment at HT.
My old man was the star player for HMP Parkhurst during their successful and unbeaten 77/78 season.

Its always like that against little clubs in midweek though, so many people dont turn up, and i bet a lot turned round and gave up as well after being in that traffic.

coming back home to Dorset there was as many QPR and Millwall as Bournemouth on the train, a lot of exiled fans just can't make mid-week games. I got home 3 in the morning
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

I think that most clubs do that Dazzer. They have 'sold' the seat to be fair.
