We all love a bit of ref bashing

But that geezer needed double baseball bats!!

If he's even had a Thai curry in the last week I'd be suspicious of a Far East betting syndicate being on him to book Barton first in the game.
Even the popular media are questioning his decisions!!

If the FA were competent this fella would be Conference North on Saturday

Just like watching Gurnham Singh or Rob Styles at times
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

He will miss a couple of matches for it i think, well in the championship anyway if they demote them like they do prem refs. He totally lost it, didnt have a clue what was going on when the bloke grabbed the ball from charlies feet.

the ref was clueless , the fella kicked barton when the game had been stopped he saw it and did nothing . all i can think about the penalty was the first foul was outside the box . but i thought they were due a pen at the end when benny kicked there bloke in the box

Other 2 were both 2nd yellows so they only miss next Saturday & back to play us.

And to balance it slightly regards our ref tonight, he had a better 2nd half.
He could easily have sent Barton off for a poor challenge late in the game but just had a word with him when the ball finally went out of play a few minutes later.

He did seriously lose the plot for 15 minutes in the 1st half though.

Just got in . He was absolutely appalling as others have said . Was desperate to book Barton as we see most weeks , and the little rat waited on the pitch to walk off at half time as he'd probably filled his pants . Anyway excellent 3 points and Matty Phillips that goal was class , scared the living s*** out of them

Lino on dugout side was horrific! Sat school end tonight and there's never been many more blatant handballs in world football

I have a good view from where I sit and SKY on the TV above the Press Box played back the penalty incident, it looked clear cut and a straight red.

Double standards with Barton was worrying

The handball was outside the area though

We should have been playing against 9 men to start off with after the blatant kick out at Barton then the handball which looked a pen. If he blows up surely he needs to send him off for stopping a goal scoring opportunity but the guy never even got a yellow

The standard of referring in this division is abysmal

                      Great 3 points however
Then to top it off he booked Barton for his first tackle. He was an absolute joke. Even the papers have commented on it so we aren't going mad. He really weren't good enough to be called a sh1t ref like the crowd sang. I was going proper chicken oriental tonight.

Handball was definately inside the box
The only thing i can think off is that the initial foul was outside the box and as the defenders gone falling he's landed on top of the ball and in doing so he's handled it. the QPR player wasn't getting to it so this didn't stop a scoring chance.
However I don't believe any of that and for me it was a blatant shovelling of the ball to drag it out of the box.

That 'extra' goal (from the penalty if we had been awarded it and scored) would have seen us top this morning. Also playing against 9 men for an extended period may very well have seen us increase our goal difference. Hope we don't need those goals in May.

We wont need goal difference. The season is so long and so many points at stake, there is more chance of every one of us on this forum winning the euro lottery than it going down to goals scored on the last game of the season. Will never happen, relax. Just going the way we are will see us at least ten points clear season end,

Could have sworn that the handball was outside the box.

There's an injustice here, but it was the lack of red card, not a denied penalty

Have to say his first half performance was nothing less than diabolical, right up there with Singh and Styles for me. Yes he was slightly better 2nd half but his 3 minute delay in the handball incident was abysmal. He should have just made his decision and stuck to it but he had absolutely no idea what he was awarding and if it was a free kick to us, then it was a minimum of a booking for their player. Lino obviously saw something as it was his flag the ref reacted to.
The Barton incident when Arber kicked out at him was right in front of him too and he saw it clearly, we all know the result had that been Barton himself, very very poor decision again and no wonder Barton was absolutely fuming at HT.
