Funny thing, I'm looking back now and I was slating him for most of the game yesterday :waaaht:

I do think he is pretty good when he is on the ball though, and he has had worse games for us IMO.

Think we are all in agreement that he needs replacing though.

Always good for someone to write a fairly exaustive report like this, good stuff.

A couple of things to add.
Re simpson for the chance that went wide he moved into space in a congested area and indicated where the ball should be placed, i thoink it was routledge that made the pass whic was execellent but a little high, simpson killed it with a great touch. at first I thought he should have done better with the shot but seeing it on the telly the goal was covered by a defender coming across, he may possibly have squeezed it inside the post but he had little if anything to aim at so it wasnt the glaring miss some have made out.

The work from vine at the end was sublime but the cross was just a bit too high for simpson who did well to make any contact.

Borrowdale, I have made no comment on borrowdale so far as I beleive in giving any player a chance but I think he showed yesterday exactly why Sousa didnt fancy him. He makes Karl Connolly look like Mark Dennis in the tackle, did ok that once in the first half but otherwise his performance looked to me to be half hearted, uncommited and lacking in agression or determination.

Much as I like to see Connolly in the centre I think we have to think he must play left back if the option is borrowdale.

Ephraim isnt a left winger.

Very good report and I agree with everything.
I do think you slightly overrate Tarrabt, for all the skill he displayed he does need to learn to pass it and not give the ball away is dangerous area's all for the sake of beating a player 2 or 3 times. Better as a winger for me.
Apart from that and I think you was 'very kind' regarding stewart who I thought was rubbish and lets hope Gorkks gets over his injury sharpish. Connelly for me was my MOTM. He is top quality and so composed on the ball. We need to loan a left back as he has to play in the middle. Keep the reports coming as your attention to detail is 1st class thanks!

I think the problem with BORROWDALE is,nt what he does! it,s what he doesn,t do!
I think the comment "he,s a coward" is slightly harsh,(but true)
Lets be honest if we didn,t know Tommy Williams,we would say what a great left-foot he,s got..lets sign him up!
