Well, we're suppose to have the quality and feel that technically we are superior to most teams, so how we are so afraid to play with two strikers. We keep a lot of possession.....however, most of this possession is in our own half. When we try to go forward, we create nothing. I am surprised that we are joint second. Hope it is not the beginning of a slide.
So you've never had an off day at work. Never woke up and thought, **** I've done nothing today?

Let's all go and slit our wrists shall we.

So you've never had days like that? Misses a deadline on a project? Pulled a sicky cos you couldn't be bothered? Had a real **** day cos you had a bust up with the misses or a family member and quite frankly you just couldn't be a$ed? We're all human! footballers are no different. Could understand all the negativity if we were mid table or bottom half. As I said before the leagues not won in November. Slight over-reaction just a little, just saying.

I'm not really bothered by the fact we lost today, this is real life football every team has to lose every now and then, what does bother me however is the fact we literally only score 1 goal each game even at home when we have the quality to score more.

Hopefully the chemistry of the team will increase and we'll see more goals but it is quite worrying

I'm afraid I'm with you Martin. We've still got a few big time Charlie's in the team not putting in a shift.Kranjcar,JJ and Hoilett for example, and I couldn't agree more regarding keeping possession in our own half and not going forward. We seem totally bereft of ideas and not providing an end product. An average of a goal a game is not good enough by any standard. You know,I looked at the Doncaster team sheet before the match and apart from Macheda didn't recognise anyone, and thought I bet they beat us.Most teams we play seem to attack more regularly than us and we seem clueless at times.I know some will say these teams are below us in the league, but apart from Barnsley and Boro at home, when did we last have a comfortable win where we weren't biting our nails and calling for the ref's final whistle?

Yep. And on those two occasions we were only comfortable because we had a two goal cushion. I think I'm right in saying that Sunderland at home last season was the only time we have scored more than two goals home or away since we beat Swansea 3-0 in March 2012 the season before. And then we only won by two freaking goals. So we haven't won by more than two goals in two years this March. Fa cking hell.

Everyone has off days, a day when everything goes wrong. But this is a different situation we have here. What went wrong against Doncaster. Did we hit the bar twice? Their goalkeeper made some fantastic saves? We missed the target by inches? NO. We were pathetic, not trying enough. No pressing, no fast movements, no shooting with confidence....now that's not an off day is it? Its called lack of trying.
