He's past his best!
He might work his socks of, but all he'll be doing is running around like a headless chicken and not really achieving anything. He's never looked good since he left chelski. Besides I don't really see what he will offer that we don't already have.

Totally over hyped player, that would cost a fortune in wages.
I would say he is a player that drifts in and out of game but unfortunately these days he is out all the time.
The desperation for a big name signing is blinding people from the truth.
Old past it players that were only ever a flash in the pan are certainly not the answer.I played sunday league football today.
