I got nicked there back in the 80's when Clough punched a Forest fan. Our coach left the Bush late and the driver drove us up past Marylebone.Originally posted by 72bus View Post

Our coach had bought a block of seats and when we arrived a lot of our seats had been taken.
When the copper told me to go and stand in the terraces I told him to F- off!
I was nicked and banged up in a cage below the stand next to some Forest fans, that was fun!
In the end the coppers did let me out in time to get on the coach, I would have been in the sh- eite I had no money.
Went back to Nottingham and got a massive fine, no ban back then. A very **** and expensive away day that was. We also lost 5-2, I had not seen a ball kicked.
I also heard it had kicked off in their supporters club.
There are many more stories like this as a young man, tragic but all part of growing up in that era, 80's still hold fond memories but also some very dark ones too.Comment
