I thought our support yesterday was ok for us ,but they were silent .Certainly from the Upper Loft i didnt hear them at all ,they brought nothing to enhance the atmosphere and seemed to have given up ( like their team ,before a ball was kicked ) .Charlton are a two bob club these days.
never understand why fans of clubs which mean nothing to us think because they turn up we will raise the atmosphere for them

They are another set of fans who think they did well against "big spending QPR" and that they should be "ok" for the season because they only conceded 1. Pretty sure Sheff Weds, Yeovil, Ipswich etc all said the same. We really do really give other teams false hope at times.

Erm, it was the worst atmosphere at Rangers in a very long time - no noise at all. Not sure why people are coating off the opposition because, even though they weren't that loud, they were still comfortably louder than us. As for only selling the top tier?? That's all we are giving this season so technically, they sold their allocation. Still, people would rather focus on that than accept that as a home support, on Saturday we were absolutely abysmal.#standuptocancer

charlton have always been a small team, usually in the old div 3 and a few times in div 2 (old)...that spell in the prem saw them as a decent club but blew it
fans? well even with alan simondsen, they got 6000 or so
you go to the valley to see "radio kent" all over, so i don't see them as a london team, they see themselves as kent so derbies are v gillingham. what happened to their invasion of our ends? all **** and mb talk.
i heard of one small scrap on SAR, were all the cops needed along SAR??
as for the atmosphere, well qpr fans expect a win, an easy win and it was muted for sure, if we'd scored the 2nd or more it would have livened up.
amazing the turn around, expected losses and going down, to anticipated promotion and wins,in a few short months!
