QPR face record-breaking punishment

What do I want? Surely what every QPR fan wants, a period of consolidation. Selling players on huge wages isn't going to be easy, Wright-Phillips for example, his career is dead and he's cashing in on mediocrity. Firstly we need to start seeing more coming through the youth ranks and improve our scouting network to seek out young talent regardless of where it is. Secondly, realistic transfer targets, Duvan Zapata was never going to sign for QPR, yet Fernandes attempted to sign him despite surely knowing Napoli were going to get him.

I am actually rather ITK (seriously) about our youth/scouting set up. It's actually amazing compared to how it was just 12 months ago. New scouts appointed, proper structure in place. For example, we have some South American youngsters on our books (officially or unofficially I'm not sure) who are training for x amount of years at a couple of Italian clubs (visa's easier to get n all that). If they develop, they come to us - if not, they go elsewhere.

We also have some unbelievable youngsters coming through at all levels. I hear we have a couple of Japanese kids in the Shingi Kagawa mould in our under 10's. Absolute ballers are the words I've been hearing.

All this and the other good things I've been hearing have been a direct result of TF and the current board. Unfortunately, none of them may turn out to be any good, but the point here is - we are doing the right things. We wont see results for at least 5 years - maybe longer, but TF certainly does have the long term interests of the club at heart. The media would rather focus on the negatives though!
