Or do you think other clubs aren't doing and we are just too stupid to try doing it. What do you think the new training ground complex is intended for or have you missed that. Clearly Tony is a gambling man and isn't thinking of the future by trying to develop a state of the art complex facility is he? Oh wait, but can we afford it? If we can't then how can we satisfy your first comment to lure the best young talent from afar?

Point Two - Nice to be linked with Duvan Zapata in the first place but I've not lost sleep over that fact we never signed him. It was always never going to happen if a bigger club came knocking and that was exactly what happened. Same happened with Hooper who went to Norwich. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to work that out but then again you don't seem to have cottoned on yet.

Point Three - Live within your means. Are you for real? Next you'll trying to promote seminars and your preaching sessions that you run where you go around the country offering wise words of wisdom on how to rid the world of debt, save everyone from poverty and feed the starving. You're believing an article in a newspaper as gospel, the Daily Fail of all papers. All Premiership clubs are not really living within their means. We're not in the same league as some. Perfectly sustainable providing you have a plan and a means to manage it. Championship clubs (I think I remember reading somewhere) can't exceed debt by more than £8million a season - is that living within their means? Define living within your means if you don't know the full picture of all the in's and out's and dealings of the club? Next you'll be saying we were paying Samba £100k a week because it said so in the Mail.

As for your comment about would we fill out a 25,000 seater stadium... Chelsea fill a 45,000 seater stadium and we were once a bigger club than they were prior to our demise and their rise the other way. Fulham were getting 6,000 post Al Fayed. That list goes on. Being in the Premiership we'd fill a 30-35,000 seater stadium if the prices were right. Revenue in the top division makes up somewhere between 0.5 and 4% of your total income. A marginal figure. The model works perfectly in the Bundesliga and you pay no more than €30 a game. If you said 40,000 seater stadium then I might of acknowledge one of your points, but instead I'm now really starting to think you're just another Fulham troll on here for a wind up.
Whilst its nice to see an impassioned and actual response to my points compared to the usual argumentum ad hominens I get for having a differing opinion, you still can't help yourself but fire non-sequiturs and rattle out strawman arguments.

I'm a QPR fan, have been for 20+ years, a former season ticket holder in the R Block. But of course, because I'm not party to the Tony Fernandes cult of personality, I'm then clearly a Fulham troll. Well done.

If you think we can fill a 30,000 stadium, great. I don't. Primarily because the initial proposal was mooted at 25,000. I'm not aware of it changing. However I'm not daft enough to suggest I might not be wrong.

Anyhow, you got your bite. Move along.

Thing is Sminky, you can if you wish not "be party to the cult of TF" That's up to you ...You can if you wish doubt we'd fill 20,000 stadium again your choice.
As it is my choice to fully support TF and any other fans right to think a 30,000 stadium will be the making of QPR.
Don't come on here telling posters to stop with the TF love in just cause you don't like it or agree

I think the reason for the emotive post was purely because I remembered getting lambasted last season about Fernandes. On that occasion I was right about relegation and I don't feel I'm wrong here either when looking at the state of the club.

Its certainly true I needn't have made the assertion yesterday that I did, but I just find it astounding at how Fernandes reign can be considered anything but embarrassing.

I'm more than willing to eat humble pie if Fernandes stablises the club financially and develops us. Without doubt everyone is entitled to there opinion but I couldn't believe some of the absolute nonsense posted in the thread, I love my club but I can't believe the hardcore fans here are so loyal as to be myopic.

              Oi!

I'm in Surrey, and the Daily Mail is a ridiculous newspaper turned internet troll looking for advertising hits.

The bloke has to be given time .....it's not being short sighted it's going along with his plans, that can't happen overnight.
You say you're embarrassed by TF's reign ...yet every club (especially those whose fans that shouted loudest how embarrassing we are) would love to have a chairman who backed his managers the way he did.
He listened to the wrong agents and had the wrong manager. If Harry had been our manager from the start you wouldn't be on here complaining now

We'll never know, but I will concede that you'd likely have been correct.

                    • I think the egregiously misnamed Financial Fair Play (what is fair about ensuring nobody can invest to challenge the top clubs?!) will be tested in the courts long before a single penny is paid in fines. And the perpetrators of these "keep the rich rich" rules will be punted further than a Begovic drop kick. How can it be legal to fine a business for investing in itself?!!

A much better approach would be to control the amount of DEBT a club can have, so that invested money has to be in the form of EQUITY, which would be much safer for the clubs.
