  • QPR face record-breaking punishment

Just read that QPR may be getting fined £60million by the financial fair play rules as we have spent so much in past year, utter joke.
Why pick on the smaller teams, man city are the ****ing worst and they get away with it... Always Agasint the mighty R'ss

The Mail is as bad as the sun newspaper talks ballocks most of the time, Chelsea Man city and a few others are the worst culprits than anybody else.

I am impressed that so few people are jumping up and down regarding this, I was going to put the link up but decided against it. I think we are beginning to learn how to sift out bull....

The way i read it is that IF we posted a loss of £80 million this year it would cost £60million.
As we cleared a lot of the dead wood and high earners i doubt it will be anywhere near that, still dont let facts get in the way of a good headline.

I imagine this is hyped up boll ox. But if it contains a shred of truth then the damage done to our club by those overpaid
f acking sc umbags is worse than getting us relegated. And still they all 'earn' money elsewhere, Hughesless included. It makes you weep with anger.

Usually I don't pay any attention to the daily FAIL in regards to football but, I doubt this is a story they would have written without something in it!

Even if he does that will not affect this year's loss as it would have to be spread out over the length of the sponsorship deal.

We are likely to get clobbered with this and also have the possibility of a transfer embargo in place if we do not conform.

Everyone seems to think there are "loopholes" that we can take advantage of and it will all be ok. Not really the case as I have read that the FA have made it quite watertight and difficult to manipulate.

Exactly Air Asia or Amit's company do a stadium sponsorship and there is the new kit sponsorship end of season plenty of ways of bringing money in.

I also am not convinced the loss is as bad as the media make out. Had we been lumping money on transfer fees then I could get my head around it but most signings were on frees with a decent wage but most of these players have now left, yes we may be still contributing towards wages but if the article is correct and we are doing 100k a week covering wages then I think we have done an exceptional job getting it down to that level given the same paper was suggesting there were two of three players on 100k a week alone so if all the shower are now just cost us £100k with the bulk out of contract come May then that less then £3mil between now and May. A lot of money but a whole lot better then the proclaimers of doom were saying this time last year

Yeah my mistake, think it's actually a UEFA ruling.

We are only allowed to make an £8m loss for this season and if we don't we will have a transfer embargo in place from 1st Jan 2015 and possible fine

The content of this article from this rag doesn't even warrant a discussion.

I thought we'd all just prepared for us to get stung by the FFP rules, as there was no way we were going to be able to play by them.
