Was reading through the other thread and predictably most people went for Bowles or Marsh (probably rightly). But thought it might be interesting to ask simply who was your favourite player - so not necessarily one of the greats or star strikers but one who you particularly liked who maybe didn't get quite the recognition they deserved.
I'll kick off with Stevie Wicks - was too young to speak with much knowledge about the great seventies side but to me 6ft2 was the most solid centre back we have had at the club in the 35 odd years I have been a supporter. Probably wouldn't be fast enough for today's game, but very little got past him. Closely followed by Glenn "the shuffle" Roeder. Who would you go for?
