The squad STILL isn't good enough. Ask yourself who is the constant that has assembled the current squad? The soiner HE ****s off, the better.

    Simples.

I'm sure if Flavio wrote him a cheque for two or three million quid tomorrow he wd sign a striker; but Flavio won't. Having said that, at this stage I wd happily sell some decent defenders or midfielders just to get in a good striker.

We can all ask the question where do we go from here? But when you have a board as tight as ours, and want back your needs? what much can you do apart from do your best until they decide they want another puppet in the frame?

The best thing to do is give Magiltion til Xmas and see where we are at that point, if needed we then replace him, i think we should just push the boat out and get a name with good credit, a football mind and very passionate about the game, someone every player can look up to and respect.

This manager should then tell the board what he expects, and that we only get the players he asks for and see's fit and too make sure he has the boards backing when needed.

This manager then sits down with the players and tells them what he expects from them and that there is no place for slackers. No ones place is guarenteed and that they will have to fight and give 100% if they want a place in the starting 11.

We sell any deadwood and players that arent really needed for the future, this will help funds for bringing in new players, aswell as any transfer money we are granted by the board.

We get them all in by the a month before the main seasons starts and we work as a unit and make sure we are a strong fit outfit in time for the 2010/2011 season wherever we may be

A good a strong pre-seaosn programme would be based on trust and understanding of each player and the depth of the team. Each player would look out for one another on the field, and would be very vocal.

The board should then try to attract the fans back to Loftus Road, by putting ticket prices down aswell as doing the '4 for 20quid' deal etc. And try to get Loftus Road back to the fortress we all know it can be.

Its all easier said than done though...

Sounds like a decent plan fella but as you said...
it certainly is easier said than done.

For 1, do you think we could attract such a manager now. It was tough in the summer, it will be even harder now.

The old 'sell all the deadwood to raise funds' line doesnt wash. All the so called deadwood are on too big and too long contracts. They dont even want to go out on loan, let alone leave their cumfy contract cushion.

Getting in the whole squad a month b4 the season starts...when a club is reliant on loans for alot of their quality, this is not going to happen.

A good a strong pre-seaosn programme would be based on trust and understanding of each player and the depth of the team. Each player would look out for one another on the field, and would be very vocal
Without the right manager, not going to happen.

Putting the prices down....yeah, i can see Flavio agreeing to that.

I guess all we can do is put our trust in Jim Magilton. I cant see we have any choice. :(:amazing::shocked:

Keep Magilton.....and hope that this lacklustre start will improve. That Madges tactics, team selection and managerial skills will improve.

I bet nearly 3 years ago when the hurrah started, you didnt expect this to be the situation come Sep 2009.

                So, what is the solution?

                What is the missing ingrediant?

Where do we go from here?
You are just as stupid as Flavio-
you suggest we have 5 managers in two years?
Who do you think we are, Inter Milan?
And even they haven't sacked four guys in 14 months. (recently)
You should be a Newcastle supporter, boy, they like people like you.

Have i said sack Magilton anywhere?
I am just trying to weigh up how we stand and the best way to go forward.
If you read you will see that i dont think sacking Madge will achieve anything.

So please get off that high horse Fella and less of the insults.

The best way to go forward is to let Magilton build his team in peace.
And to support the team and the new manager. Clear? We are ALREADY the laughing stock of the Championship manager wise. Get more kids on loan from top clubs, the two chelsea boys helped us a lot, it is not rocket science.

How is getting loads of kids in on loan the best way to go forward?

You build a team with them included, and then they go back and you are back to square 1.

Also, when you say the 2 chelsea boys, you dont mean Sinclair & Sahar do you?

So we have to go back to square one, look, mutley, qpr is not going to attract talent, we are going to get stuck with 70 year old strike forces
because if you were a decent player, there are 10 London clubs you would think of before qpr. This is not a video game. Get kids from chelsea, arsenal and spurs and then you have pace and kids at the start of their careers, not the end, like Helguson. Would you rather have a hungry player with a lot to prove or a 33/35/ yr. old has been who just wants a pay packet and a flat in London?

true, the downside of having a team of hastily arranged loans was there for all too see - no cohesion, no passion. the odd loan is quite smart business, but it has been over-done. So now our entire attack depends on a young kid from Arsenal who doesn't look ready.

rather have a young kid from arsenal than an old hag from bolton.
We don't need six kids on loan, we have a decent squad who have been together, they have to get used to the manager, etc, give the arsenal kid and the manager, time. Will we lose to Palace? Very possible, doesn't mean we're gonna get relegated.
