  • Same old story

Good first half in terms of posession good parnership in midfield with Faulin and Watson only marred by Watson's mistake that led to their goal.
Terriffic work by Watson in getting back to stop a certain second goal and from this tackle led to our goal. Fast move upfield to Tarrabt and some brilliant footwork from him to set up Routledge.
    First half promising.

Second half - much the same but same old story no one up front who looks like a goalscorer.

Substitutions were diabolical -if Rowlands is to play you cannot have Watson in the middle as well. Rowlands had a poor comeback.
Vine on for Tarrabt was wrong.

Should have made just one change in my view and that would have Buzz on for Ephrain.

Overall this team still lacks a leader and I cannot see where the goals are going to come from - the problem with our lack of goals has not been solved - Jay Simpson is not the answer.

Left back is also a weakness although Borrowdale does not do much wrong but he cannot head a ball and most passes are short square ball.

On paper we look to have a good squad but Madge does not know what our best line up is and until we can find an answer to our stikers problem I am afraid that it will be a long hard winter.

Good post - fair reflection on the game, and agree the subs were awful and actual helped P'boro.

Rowlands - was absolutely awful when he came on.
Vine best moment was when he went down the left wing......... I just dont view him as a striker.

Ephraim.............. doesnt add anything, he is lightweight, runs like a fairy, has no pace, doesnt take players on, doesnt cross, has no shot on him and doesn pass well.

We appear to have a squad of individuals that can not play as a team........ like you say no leader on the pitch.

Very poor start to the season.

Okay, we go in 1-1. Not played great, but we go in level.

What was the team talk? I love to know.

Tarrabt I'll give you 10 more minutes and Fualrin, I think your knackered, give it 10 mins

or fuking get at them and show you care for the badge and the supporters, don't lose the ball and show you are better than them .

Problem is, my guess it was the first option

maybe magilton flips a coin on team selection and subs.

Remind me did we have a shot on target 2nd half? I dont recall one!
