  • who was qpr's greatest ever player?????

for me the greatest ever accolade goes to stanley bowles.......majestic swerve of his hips and he left opposition players on the floor....remember these were in the days of 'hatchet men' when most teams deployed an assassin to take the games mavericks out!!....his run in europe for us when he broke all scoring record was of qpr legend and im so glad i witnessed the greatest team in our history which ,no matter how much we spend, never ever be reciprocated!

This comes up from time to time and it is usually a close race between Stan and Rodney and Stan usually comes out just ahead.

And I concur: Stan for me too. Simply amazing skill and a pretty decent goal scorer to boot (but not as clinical as Sir Les or even Don Givens for that matter).

Stan was very good. Gerry francis would be my choice as he also had an international career. Sir les was like a goal head start and seaman in his prime was quality along with parkes. I am going francis ferdinand who kept us up with guaranteed goals and Stan 3rd
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

If you asked me what 1 player in his prime we can have back it would be sir les. We would **** this league with his 4 or 5 goals a game

They'd forget all about "Adel's too good for you" and be singing "Stanleeee, Stanleeee, Born is the ki-ing of Lo-oftus Road!"

This question would depend on your age, so I am going to buck the trend and say George Goddard, never saw him play, but his goals tally speaks for itself.

For me it has to be sir les. I grew up watching him bang in goals week in week out. As much as the likes of bowles and Marsh were legends sir les has always been my footballing hero.
                      SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

For those of us who aren't as senior as Facto - I only saw Stan a few times and was very young - I'm going to go for Tony Currie, never saw someone hit a long range pass with his skill, better than Hoddle imho and never quite made the most of his incredible talents.

I'm having to stop myself from writing Clint Hill...... If pressed Stan and Dave Clement.
