think i'm showing my age, but its all about opinions and also age a lot of our younger fans would never have had the priviledge of watching the likes of Stan.Rodney Gerry.Dave Thomas Sir Les.Roy Weggerle for those of us that are old enough we've' some outstanding players? but also a load of S**T too

Martyn Busby was a fav of mine also.

Personally, being a defender in my playing days myself, Alan McDonald. Inspirational leader and total all round defender.

Gary Bannister was another favourite - especially for the 2 hat-tricks against Chelsea!

For players I was unfortunate not to see - has to be Bowles. Heard and read so many quality stories about him just wished I'd witnessed some.

Ned Zelic.....only joking, for me it's Sir Les but that's only because I grew up watching him when I first started supporting rangers.

I must admit I would have loved to have watched Stan and Rodney ply their trade as I've heard so much but seen so little.

As much as I liked Adel when he was on fire he's not in the same league as Les.

For sheer star quality and charisma then its a Bowles v Marsh but Francis was probably the most complete footballer QPR has ever had, box to box player who scored some wonder goals too.......Spurs away in 1976 and Blackburn at home in early 80's stick in the memory, the Spurs goal put his goal of the season v Liverpool as an also ran. And to top it all Francis came through the youth team, so he really was QPR through and through.

                  WELL

WEL I ALWAYS GO FOR RODNEY BECAUSE HE CAPTURED THOSE 15 THOUSAND RANGERS FANS WITH HIS INCREDIBLE BALL SKILLS EVEN GEORGE BEST SAID MARSH COULD MATCH HIM FOR SKILL

BUT ROD ALWAYS HAD WEIGHT ISSUES HE KEPT EATING AND EATING AND HAD TO USE HIGH FIBRE FOOD TO COMBAT THIS

WHICH LED TO HUNDRED S OF FARTS FIREING OUT AT THE OPPOSITION

I REMEMBER ONCE WHEN SOMEONE LIT UP ONE OF HIS FARTS AND HE WENT FLYING DOWN THE WING

IM GOING BACK TO FINISH THAT CRATE OF SPECKLED HEN AND TO SMASH UP THE BATHROOM

its because qpr are not playing this weekend, its so very painfull

                      yeah

yeah aaron but its also about the age group that you are, bowles was an amazing talent and he had one thing over rodney which was mobility, bowles was much more of a natural athlete than marsh, neither of them were much good in the air,but both marsh and bowles had fabulous dribbling skills

they possed such incredible gifts to open up defences

the reality is they were both 9 out of ten

i supose i would always go for marsh because when he came to qpr he was a one man team so he was a god like charactor

where as bowles had francic, clement, gillard, thomas, parkes all of these players whent onto become full england internationalls, but poor rodney was all on his own, just roger morgan and him really
