                    Marsh.Stan was class and with him we should have won the league, but replace Bowles with marsh in the 76 team and we WOULD have won the league!

                                I go Stan, on the basis the question is "greatest" he is to us what Best is to Man utd, Dalglish is to Liverpool and Morris is to Chelsea, players that defined the club.

                                If someone says SB it = QPR - no other club. He made us, we made him.....perfect. Everything about our club both past and present can be summed up by reference to him.

                                Sir Les is my personal favourite due to the era thing but he's still strongly linked by the public to Newcastle and Spurs, also he got better over time with us. Sir Les defined a generation, SB defined a football club.

                                Therefore for what it's worth I go greatest SB.
