Red Tops

Now maybe its just me but I've noticed the we seem to be wearing red tops more and more at the minute. Harry at pre match, the subs, training wear and even today's pictures of the training camps in Singapore everyone's wearing red!!

Do you think are Malaysian owners are just getting us used to the colour before announcing a change to a traditional blue and white hoops ala Cardiff and Mr Tan????? I hope not but the cynic in me is getting a little worried.

No mate I think that's bit of paranoia. Red is a colour associated with us and it's just an excuse for more merchandising. Players on match day wear the hooped white and navy top and we train in red. We have had black and grey training gear in recent times

Sadly I am old enough to have gone to the 82 cup final so I know we've had a long association with colour red but it just seems to be everywhere at the moment. Like you say maybe I am being paranoid but as the situation at Cardiff shows ultimately the owners can do pretty much what they like with a football club and I would hate us to loose our identity ala Cardiff and Hull City AFC,

I really wouldn't worry about it too much . I don't think we can compare tony to either of the two chairmen mentioned . They have given us kits this year which are bang on after listening to the views of supporters so I would be stunned if the thought had even crossed his mind . He's well clued up on what this club means to the fans , no way he'd risk a move like that even though he could if he wanted to .

that fella at Hull ,has changed the name to Hull City Tigers and then announced this week that the name is too long and wants shorten it to Hull Tigers and drop the City. It goes to show owners can just do what they like and ride roughshod over the fans .
Even though Fernandes wont give us back the Loft ,i doubt very much he would try and mess with the hoops.

Wouldn't worry too much mate.

Could easily have worn the Red & Black hoops at Reading, but we went with the ridiculous Green & Yellow.

Totally agree!!!

As much as I love this club I just cant help but hate the new badge.
Bring back the one before this one, or if not at least let the fans have a say in a new one.

There was talk of changing it back, any news on that???

In their third season if they were going to attempt to change colours I reckon they would have tried it by now. Hoops is unique and TF is all about the promotion and merchandising so why rip up one of our few USPs
