Like a lot of clubs - they have a handful who've seen Green Street (and Green Street 2 - Stand Your Ground for double 'ard points) and seen a few Bundesliga games - team it all up with a bit of moody Stone Island clobber and think they've re-created the ICF, 6:57 and the Soul Crew.

In effect, like most other clubs they're a little gang of 15-16 year olds who like to play "firework fwends" and would run a mile when confronted by anything resembling "a firm". A joke amongst jokes.

I will be on the boat with the B-Mob, they will bring a few and plenty of them are in there late forties, so no problem with hairstyles with them Van. Old bill have stopped them disembarking at Hammersmith, so thay are now having to go back to Westminster after a trip up to Putney and back - more beer time though!

Good set of chaps and they have given as good as they have got off us in the past.

Bluehoop - I know a JT who is going to be on the boat but not by the aka you refer to. Chap I know with those initials is in his 40's and is the fattest vegetarian that I know. Did you know their top chaps DF & SP now deceased (RIP)

We talk of the same chap mate (well I guess so as there can't be that many late forties, overly fat veggies supporting Charlton from the Bexleyheath area) - anyone who forces his son to have the middle name Charlton is a bit loopy in my mind Having said that John is a proper gent and a great friend. I know/knew most of them over the years, obviously still knock about with JT and a few of the other 40 somethings associated. Got invited to join the trawl up the Thames but I have to be elsewhere in the morning so am missing the boat sadly. I reckon you and I probably know a good few of the same people and I actually wonder if you are the Ranger I see at the Teviot football festival each year?

some hand to hand at the 1970 cup game at the Valley, Loft boys had to call in the half-way line for back up
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
