Hope its not for 18 months tho. With the best will in the world it is clearly a short term fix until the end of the season. We are not some super-annuated pension fund for multi-millionaire half dead footballers. Well, actually we are but whether we should be is another matter...

To be fair 18 months is probably the smallest amount of time anyone is going to sign for, as 12 months would see them leave in the middle of next season. Not too worried by an 18 month contract its the 4 year ones that nearly killed us.
Wages not the issue, but length of contract is. If the fella was decent he'd sign until June and then prove himself worthy of an extension. Footballers- their agents moreover- don't think like this.
Splashing the cash rather than working with what we have. Typical rangers and typical redknapp. Train them harry for gods sake. Stop using the board to bail you out.
Same reaction to the potential signing of Henry. Few games in he is being given all sorts of praise.
Having watched us most games this season we have plenty of the ball and do nothing with it. Is he more creative than Jenas and O'Neill? Comfortably so he would improve the squad and improve the team which cannot be a bad thing. Sometimes you just have to trust Harry and go on what he has seen in training the past few weeks.

trust harry? I'd be shocked if more than 10% of our fan base do tbh mate
If the fella signs we have to give him 10 games or so to settle in and show what he can do. He might be awful .............but then on the other hand he might be awesome
Our problem's not getting possession, its what we do or should I say don't do with it that is the problem.
If we only sign YB on a short term then we haven't really lost anything. Especially with Carroll coming back from injury, maybe these two could be the key to adding a bit of creativity to the squad.
