it's being negative for the sake of it.....or attention seeking.
Although i do appreciate you are entitled to your opinion.
My opinion is if we are going to get benni then we may as well bring boswinga. In fact lets bring Mark Hughes back. Last season has destroyed any confidence of buying any player who is past their best, injury prone and is still on expensive wages. We can't do it anymore. How can any1 disagree is beyond me.

Ryan Nelson didn't worry me. Know he was on bench with Blackburn and Spurs but he wasn't a gamble. Not on stupid wages. If he didn't do much for us it wont affect us. If he plays great then thats a huge bonus. So you can throw as many players you want at me but players like Ryan are not in the same category as Benni. Benni is the category of Park, Granero, Boswinga. Big names, big wages, but a gamble if it fails.

I didn't realise we knew what he was going to get. What is his salary going to be then?

It depends on the length of contract really. 65k a week until the end of the season, not that bad. Any longer may be a concern. The likes of Barton, Green, Hoilett etc are still on their mammoth salary's, it doesnt seem to have affected team spirit too much this season.

I don't disagree that we can't do that anymore. But who says this will be the same? I trust that the club have learnt their lesson and that if they do sign Benayoun then it will be on good terms for the club. I will also get behind him 100% and at least give him a chance before I slate him and pigeonhole him with the likes of Bosingwa and Hughes.

Harry: it's decision time for ex-Chelsea star Benayoun at QPR

                Here's today's quotes from Redknapp:

“I’m going to have a chat with him today and see what he wants to do. We haven’t spoken to him yet. We’ve got to sit down and have a chat to him and see what he’s looking at. Yossi’s training still. And we’ll have a chat with him today and see what he wants to do. This is not like the Chris Baird thing. He was here for a few weeks and got an offer from Reading, but we’ll have a chat with Yossi and see what he’s looking at.”:

QPR boss Harry Redknapp plans to discuss a potential deal with former Chelsea man Yossi Benayoun later today.

                  Thanks Stanley.

So HR is pretty much saying he wants him and its up to Yossi what he wants to do.

He was a good player a few years ago but he hasn't played for last three years. I cant really see what he will offer. Just hope he doesn't turn out to be another Boswinga

So now it's a gamble...you talk as if its a certainty now a gamble, so you don't really know anymore than the rest of us....some gambles pay off

Think we've learnt our lesson. That's why we didn't sign Baird or Bridge. If he signs it'll be on our terms. If it's silly money, which I doubt, the contract won't be for a silly length of time. But what do I know.... I'm ITD. D being Dark.

Really hope not. Bet he's on a fair old wedge and at 33 I thought we was past signing these sort of players.
