Not convinced in Benayoun myself but if he isnt going to get paid £60k a week he'd be a decent sub!

Couldn't agree with you more WeAre,a goal a game isn't good enough if we are to sustain a serious promotion challenge.

I dont think signing a striker is the key to more goals, i think playing 4.4.2 is

Austin, AJ, chevanton, zamora and hitchcock a pretty good combination of strikers for the championship.

Would be interesting to see what our goal tally would have been had 4.4.2 been our main formation
        SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

If we carry on with the same points per game we will comfortably go up.

Yeah that is the important thing. I think things are ticking over very well really and the manager/chairman seems pleased enough.
Before the season is over I expect an improvement in the goal tally but so long as the club keeps picking up points in the present that is the main thing.

As for Benayoun well if he the club wants him and he wants to accept the kind of deal the club is offering this year then he sounds a good buy to me.

If the club keeps improving and growing at the rate it has I don't see why QPR couldn't be succeeding like Swansea/Southampton are, either next year or the year after.

i've always liked benayoun, it's a shame he ended up being such a journeyman.

he's definitely good enough for the championship but a lot of our signings seem to be worryingly short term… i can't see many of them really stepping up if we get promoted

The mirror is saying hes doing a 3 day trial, so who knows. The mail & mirror not exactly reliable resources...

if you read the mirror article about half way down it states that their source IS the daily mail article! This is just one notoriously bad paper quoting from another notoriously bad paper both of which have a reputation for stories designed to drive traffic to their site!

I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

They don't need to train him to find out coz i can tell you now. He is rubbish. Good for keeping benches warm though. But i think it be cheaper to install a heater under the seats instead. After Liverpool he gets signed, plays a few matches, they realise he is no good, then he stays on the bench until he is loaned out. They that loan club does the same and sends him back. We got Hogan Ephraim to do that job as it is
